I really want to love this place, and honestly, I do when it comes to the food itself. I'm gluten-free, and their GF bread is some of the best I've had. The sandwiches are always fresh and delicious, which is why I keep coming back.

That said, the last two times I've gone, my order hasn't been followed correctly. The first time, I asked for no mustard, and my sandwich came loaded with mustard. This time, I asked for my sandwich to be toasted. The girl at the register even noted it on the order, but when my sandwich came out, it was cold.

I debated saying anything but decided to mention it on my way out since it's happened twice in a row. The girl told me she saw it come out wrong, said she had entered it correctly, and then blamed her coworker (the same guy who messed up my last order) for not doing it. She asked if I wanted some toasted bread instead, but I had already eaten my sandwich.

What bothered me most was that her reaction was completely unphased. She didn't apologize or take any ownership, just shrugged it off. As someone who manages a business myself, if you know an order is wrong, you fix it before handing it off to the customer. The food deserves five stars, but the service and lack of care bring it down to two. Hopefully management addresses it because it's disappointing to see the same mistake happen twice with no effort to make it right.

The food here is always fantastic anytime I have ordered. Fresh ingredients and a lot of food for your money. I was extremely disappointed when I went to get food there tonight and as I walked up I saw an employee walk to close and lock the door. It was 6:40 and according to their hours they are open for another 20minutes. As I reached the door the employee signed a peace and walked away without any explanation. There was no signage indicating an early closing time. It felt rude and unwelcoming, not to mention a little confusing. Otherwise a great place to get a sandwich but be wary of potential inaccurate store hours or employees eager to leave early

I do not know how this place has such good reviews. The pastrami had absolutely no flavor. And the mayonnaise on the sandwich was just enough to seal the deal that I could not eat it at all. My daughter got the turkey bacon and avocado sandwich and she liked it. So I would just stay away from the pastrami. It’s really awful.

Always a great place for a sandwich and a beer! Friendly service and good eats. I will say their prices are getting quite high, but what isn’t. $25 for a regular sized sandwich and a beer. They do have happy hour specials though!

Had an amazing meal! The food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were fantastic. A customer (classic Karen) made a scene about food handling, falsely accusing the staff. The manager stayed calm, explained their food safety protocols, and handled it with total professionalism. Impressive service under pressure — we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place, killer sandwiches, good beer, and behind the counter, nothing but awesome people!

Too bad 😏 unfortunately our sandwiches were a mess. I ordered Turkey Classic it was served to me on old hard bread and the turkey was vet salty. It fell apart. Very disappointing. My husband’s meatball sandwich(bread)was completely soggy and he was unable to pick it up! He didn’t appreciate having to eat his sandwich with a fork.
Jerseys Mikes we’re on our way back to you!

Came by Beach Hut Deli today for the first time not knowing what to expect and wow, these sandwiches were huge. I ordered the Pig Kahuna and they packed so much pork and pineapples it was worth the extra cost compared to a normal sandwich. The service was a bit slow but I forgave that once I saw the sandwich. Also each booth in the deli had a TV showing a basketball game which was great. I need to stop by again for sure. Definitely worth the visit.

I ordered a surfing bird reg size and it came out looking like a small sandwich. Asked the gentleman working and confirmed it was a regular size. I paid $15 dollars for what appears to be a small sandwich. Kinda a rip for paying that much for such a tiny sandwich.

The guy making the sandwiches wasn’t wearing any gloves and kept brushing his hair back with his hands while making my food! Customers are watching you!

The restaurant is a bit older but we saw the locals walking in so we followed. It has a relaxed vibe and everyone was super friendly. Food was good - so much bread though. It was a carb overload ? I had a small (3”) and Chris had a medium (6”) Woody and we ordered a side of beach bites. It was all good but so much bread!

I came here a week ago for the first time and I liked it. I had heard about it from an old coworker years ago and happened to be in the area. I got the bbq sandwich with the pineapple on it. It was really good. I can tell this place gets really packed since it's so close to the high school. I look forward to coming back the next time I'm in the area

Parking: The parking lot is medium sized but since it's shared with other businesses I can tell it probably fills up during really busy times. And since there's nothing else really near this corner I could see that being a hassle
