Nice spot in Rancho Mission Viejo. We stopped in to Morena's for an early dinner. Carlos B. and Carlos R. helped us out and were both fantastic servers with excellent customer service and people skills. We started with drinks and guacamole, which were great. The Don Julio Blanco with club soda and three limes muddled were mixed to perfection. My wife ordered the chicken enchiladas verdes with rice and beans and loved the dish. The chicken was well cooked and the food tasty. I had the asada asada platter, which was good but more like a NY steak but still tasty with rice, beans, and a cheese enchilada. The chips, salsa, and tortillas were also fresh and tasty. The ambiance was positive, and the establishment appeared to be popular amongst the locals. We also found out that Morena's is also in Lake Forest, where Mimi's Cafe used to be. Highly recommended.

We arrived for dinner on February 14 without having booked, they treated us very well and were very friendly. The atmosphere is very warm, the waiters are very attentive and always attentive. The food was quite delicious, I loved the red rice, the tortilla chips are warm, the meat and the tacos that we ordered were also very delicious. The margarita was delicious and the dessert tasted good and not so sweet. All very rich and pleasantParking: Located in a commercial area with ample parking.

This was a wonderful experience overall! The restaurant itself is a good size not to large and not too small. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to eat indoors and the staff is EXTREMELY attentive. Refilling drinks, getting more chips and salsa, taking empty plates, my husband and I were both very impressed. We ordered the street tacos and green sauce enchiladas both to share. The enchiladas was great, I would have liked a little more meat and seasoning on the street tacos but we're still good! Next time I wanna try the flautas. We also ordered the tortilla soup as an appetizer and it was delicious. I would definitely order this soup on a cold day when u wanna get cozy. The food was pretty good but the service made the whole experience excellent! I would absolutely recommend this restaurant! ??

Love this place. Depending on time of day I get the fried Calamari, Cobb Salad or Burrito. Staff is awesome. Patio is lovely on warmer days but inside is noisy with loud music.

My first time at Morena's RMV was surely a pleasant one! From the friendly staff to the delicious nachos and drinks I had on a whim on brief errand run to Sendero Marketplace, it was lovely. In fact, I brought in my family the next week and there we enjoyed delicious Mexican entrees and we were even serenaded by the Lil'Dickens Christmas Carolers that came by to entertain!

Good Mexican food. They have a lil bar too. The salsa has some heat. Worth checking out.

This was our first time eating here. Wet Burrito tasted good but not much meat or rice that I asked for in it, Chile Verde was very good but the portion was small.

I've been to Morenas several times and will return again. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere, and the staff treats me like family. You can taste the quality and freshness of the food in every item that I've eaten there.

Morena's is an absolute gem! The food and drinks are absolutely delectable - everything I've tried has been fantastic. The service is amazing too: incredibly warm and welcoming. I usually go there with friends in the area when I visit them, but sometimes I'll just make the trip alone from Lake Forest. It's that good.Dietary restrictions: I have to avoid cheese. They gladly accommodate me.

bland, bland, bland! The chef here should really learn how to use salt and pepper. I got the steak fajitas and besides it being a tiny portion of meat, it was completely tasteless, swimming in a ton of also bland peppers and onions. I guess they put this much onions to disguise the TINY portion of meat for $24. The beans that came with it were pale and looked like vomit, disgusting. I kept using the salt and pepper shaker to try to add some flavor to it to no avail. My friend got the salmon veracruzano and it was also bland. Anyone with ANY cooking experience should know that you have to season the meat before cooking it, or no amount of sauce over it will fix the blandness. The meat was also very chewy, it seems like they boiled it before putting it on butter to give the effect of a sizzle. The meat was clearly not grilled. Just awful. VERY OVERPRICED!

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Food is delicious, drinks are as they supposed to be, just great, and friendly and professional staff.
