As a frequent visitor, I can confidently say that this restaurant in Modesto is a hidden gem. It's a place where you instantly escape the city's hustle and bustle with its quaint, inviting ambiance. What sets it apart is the chefs cooking right in front of you, and the owner's personal touch. He's often seen serving tables or even in the kitchen, and his attention to detail is impeccable. The ever-changing menu, featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, is seriously impressive. The food is consistently amazing and delicious. If you're in Modesto and haven't experienced this restaurant yet, it's a must-visit for a unique dining experience that keeps you coming back for more.

Place use to be amazing and I miss that. Use to get a decent amount of food. But apparently now we get a quarter amount food. With double the price. Spent 100$ and only had two drinks and left hungry.

Great date spot to mix things up. This is a Tapa style place to kick back. The menu is always changing. Step out of your comfort zone and open yourself up to an unique experience. Excellent beer selection and the food is made with top-notch fresh ingredients. Tonight we shared 3 Tapas and the New York Steak special. Passed on the bone marrow tonight but if it's your first time here, it is a must try. The New York Steak wasn't great. A rare miss for this spot. There was no sear and the cut was excessively fatty. The flavor was still good and the berry compote was interesting. Everything else was amazing. The clams were divine. The crab cake was the best I've ever had. Puff pastries are a staple here and their reputation is well deserved. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Thank you for another great date night.

This is a nice laid back atmosphere with amazing dishes. The beef wellington was amazing as was the shrimp in garlic and red chilie sauce. We enjoyed every bite and the PB&J bomb was the icing on the cake. So good. Would definitely visit again!

My best friend and I showed a bit early before they opened, but the two gals were kind to let us in and sit.. also cause it was rather warm out today. But as we walked in we were greeted right away and right off I knew it was going to be a good experience here. The gals went over the menu with us and listed off the specials. Everything sounded so good!! My friend had the pork chop special and she said it was delicious. I went with the pork belly and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! Everything tastes to fresh and had so much flavor. The dish had pickled jalapeños, cucumbers, kimchi and topped off with an over easy egg with furikake sprinkled atop. I was getting major umami in this dish.. it was chefs kiss. So delicious. I also wanted to try the mushroom pastry. It was pastry dough topped with mushrooms and vegan parm. Yum!!! It was perfectly cooked the mushrooms were tender and flavorful. We finished our meals and of course had to have dessert. It was a featured pistachio semi-fredo topped with dark chocolate shavings, pistachios and a custard cream drizzle. Can I just say it was the perfect way to end the meal. Pricing was reasonable, they use fresh local ingredients which I love cause we are all about supporting local businesses. The staff were all very pleasent and the atmosphere was chill. I'd definitely come back for sure!!

Garlic brie and prosciutto pastries were amazing. Cannot wait to go back to try other dishes, but I'm already craving another garlic brie pastry. It gets to be a packed house for sure, so bring good company.Love that they allow dogs.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options
