Authentic PhoSo many places opening up around Modesto. Nothing close to DK Noodle...I take a two hour drive for real Pho. Never disappoints!Kid-friendliness: Always kind to my children.

I don’t understand the hate or bad reviews this place is receiving. Overall, I had the best first experience here. The food was delicious and I received great customer service. The environment is clean and well taken care of. Would recommend to eat here as the weather gets colder. Thank you!

I'm shooooocked at the reviews that say the food is good. This place is dirty. Napkin holders are covered in dust. The peanut sauce smelled weird. The food was average. I walked in and nobody said hello I wasn't sure if I should sit down or order at the front because no one greeted me. I was dinning in and just ended up reading the menu off the wall.

This place was HORRIBLE. as a fully vietnamese person I was offended when I walked in. Right off the bat the atmosphere was NOTHING like a vietnamese restaurant I eat at often. From the lighting to the news broadcast the whole vibe was off. Not to mention the server was kinda rude (and white). Lowkey wanted to leave the restaurant right away but we already sat down so it was too late. Me and my family ordered shrimp tempura, a dry noodle with meat, and a meatball pho. Pretty average stuff that you can't possible screw up, right? Right? Wrong! My dad didn't even have to take a bit out of his dry noodles with meat because just the look of the meat was bad quality! I saw it too and it was DULL. IT LOOKED DEADER THAN DEAD! The meatball pho was fine but could've been way better. My brother got the shrimp tempura and it looked fine, almost good but we only had two pieces before he stopped eating because he said it had "a weird aftertaste" so I just told him to stop eating it because it was probably infested with something! We only sat in there for about 20 minutes tops! We werent even close to finishing our food at all! For a place that advertises SOOO heavily about being vietnamese, THEY SERVED CHINESE FOOD AS WELL?? this was just the tip of the iceberg too and I usually don't write reviews but this place was so bad I just had to! Would not recommend! Super offended that this place is still in business because this is NOT AUTHENTIC vietnamese food.

Holy taste bud overload!! The pho is amazing. Best pho I've had locally. Service is good. It feels like you're in your moms kitchen.. very homey. Definitely will be returning and we're wanting to try everything on the menu!

Went to pick up my order today and the white guy at the counter just starred at me waiting for me to ask him what I wanted?! Not personable at all for a customer service host and he looked very unhappy and bothered that I said I'm here to pick up my order. He just pointed and said it's there. No name asked or anything hoe unprofessional. First and last time ordering here!

Pho is the best I can find compared to my home town of San Jose. Tried a few place here in Modesto but this is the spot. Service is alway great, and they are nice and friendly.Never to crowded.

My family and I have been coming here for years. The last few years we only order take out since we have small children and going out to eat with them is difficult. We love the pho. I'm picky about chicken pho and this place is one of the best in my opinion. My husband and older son order the rice plates at times and everything we've had has been very good. The owner is very nice. She is so friendly every time we have interacted with her and has a lovely smile. I debated how I would write/rate this review. I would have given less stars if I was rating my experience tonight. But I didn't want to discount the good experiences we have had in the past.I hope the owner reads this review as I was very disappointed this evening. We have dealt with one employee who is consistently rude each time we encounter him. I believe his name is Grayson. My husband has told me about him being rude in the past. Tonight I witnessed it myself. He had no sense of customer service when I called. He sounded very annoyed to take my order. When I came to pick up the order, as I waited for my receipt I contemplated whether I was going to leave a tip. I ALWAYS tip when I order take out. He did not smile, did not say thank you...He put my receipt on the counter without even looking at me, turned, and as he was walking away said, "your order is over there". Easy decision. No tip. When I got home I realized he did not give me the extra veggies for my soup, which he charged me for. Usually we get one bag of bean sprouts for each order of soup. There was only one. I did not call to let him know because at that point I wasn't going to go all the way back for a refund or to get the things he forgot. And frankly, I wouldn't expect him to be apologetic. I just hope this is an isolated experience.

First time customer & will never return!Ordered a sandwhich ! BBQ pork and egg rolls! Sandwich look nothing like what others have ordered! Greedy on the veggies! Took 15mins for my order and which was only 2 items! Banh mi sandwich by my house look and taste way better ! Only made a stop here because I was in a rush to go to work! Never again! Of course I cut the sandwich by myself but the filling was horrible and no mayo or spread!

Wanted to give this place a try because of the pictures outside their windows with the authentic Vietnamese food photo caught my attention.Walked in on a Friday night at 8 pm with a family of 5. Didn't look busy just a family and a couple. We waited and a lady came out and said you can sit anywhere.. so we sat ourselves. She then came by with a menu and welcomed us. The vibe was not right to me. Not to be mean but I felt like I was in a restaurant in Chinatown(y'all know what I mean). Anyways, we figured what we wanted and she came by to take our orders. What we ordered:Pho with steak- eh- too salty but okBun Bo hue (spicy beef noodle)- nope not even close how this soup should of been. Broth tasted sour due to the chili sauce and the noodles were vermicelli instead the actual thick noodles.Fried rice with bbq pork- good Bbq pork with shrimp and egg rolls with vermicelli - it was ok . Not too sure why each bite I took tasted like soap. Their fish sauce is not actual fish sauce... too salty in my preference.I wished their advertisement wasMore accurate. The food is not what appears like on the picture. I'm a true Vietnamese and know what to expect with my food! It's more like a fusion of Chinese food.Service was superb. I guess she's the owner and she was very attentive and apologetic each time she feels we had to wait.
