Been wanting to try this place since it arrived. Love some good Filipino Food. So tonight on my way home from work I decided to place an phone order and pick it up. I ordered Pork Adobo with white rice, Lechon Kawali, Shrimp Pancit & Chicken Lumpia. The Pork Adobo was not was I am used too, the ones I've had more gravy. This was more just the pork and potatoes. The 30 minute drive for the lechón kawali and the lumpia is beyond worth it. I recently started dibbling and dabbling into other cultures and Filipino cuisine has really caught the attention of all my taste buds. Bacon fried rice tho?! if you're wanting to try something new this is a good first start!

I ordered pork lumpia and said I'll wait in my car. The lady said it's actually ready. Apparently they pre cook. To their credit, it was freshly cooked and still hot. The filling was moist and soft but I didn't taste or feel ground pork in my mouth. It's different from the lumpia we all know because theirs is made with maybe 50% extenders which I would guess is bread. The taste is okay but not as I expected.
