The service was good and the place is nice, but the fish tacos I got though had zero sauce and no cabbage like most fish tacos.. I got it to go so I just had to eat dry fish tacos, very disappointing ?

Avoid this place like the plague. They skimp you on Ingredients, sauces, chips. I gave this place a shot when it first opened a few years ago.It still hasn't changed. I ordered a Super Burrito from them to give them another try and man was I disappointed.They gave me a skinny long burrito filled with rice and a couple beans and bits of Carne Asada. I payed extra for the Super Burrito which includes Guacamole,Cheese, and Salsa. Which had none of it.What gets me the most is this place is never busy, so there's no excuse as to why they could mess up the order. The only people that were there were the owners? or family? who were walking in and out of the kitchen and sitting at the tables by the entrance.Most definitely not coming here again and this is based off my own experiences here.

Good food, but after ordering food for the entire family I was told that I only got two salsas - for all the food. This was 3 Burritos and 4 tacos.This is wild! They told me I could buy more for 25 cents each. I got that salsa money, but on principal....I'm not planning to return until they change this short sighted policy.

Recently started going here do to road construction near our regular place.They are Extremely stingy with condiments and chips.Ordered 8 tacos and a burrito and they would only give me one guacamole cup and about five chips in a small bag.I guess that's what they give per order, not how much you orderMy biggest regret is leaving a tip before receiving my food.

If I could give less than one star I would. Such terrible customer service, ruins any opinion on the food. We were going due to the proximity to our house, but I will never go here again. After being on hold for ten minutes, I decide to just drive over and get in line, but before I can get there they hang up on me. When I say how that was frustrating to me the rude woman at the front tells me “Phones aren’t working”.I’m not sure if she understands how phones work, but I heard he speaking the whole time to a customer or coworker and then heard her put the receiver down. Why lie? It wasn’t busy when I showed up. Just so arrogant and incredibly rude.Besides the abysmal customer service on this trip, this place isn’t worth going to. You have to plead for 3 extra salsas, the front staff are always so annoyed by you ordering, and don’t have time for you.The food is incredibly mid, the fish is often over cooked, the asada is dry and tough, and the breakfast items might as well be taken off the menu. Besides this, 14$ for a super burrito anywhere is jut theft.For clarity, we normally order 2 burritos and 2 tacos at any time. Our biggest order was 4 burritos which felt like we were asking the world of the front staff to make.Awful, there are much better taquerias in Modesto.

If I could give zero stars I would. After a long day at work my wife and I went in to support this local restaurant in the neighborhood and will definitely be our last time. Lady taking orders was completely rude and I got the feeling she was upset that we were there. After the food came out I went to the counter to ask if they had any jalapeños available and the same lady very angrily stayed quiet turned around into the fridge and threw a sandwich bag with jalapeños onto the counter and walked away again not saying a single word. Not sure how this place has so many good reviews, probably bought the reviews. I recommend going to mis compadres down the street, amazing service there!!!

I love this place, we eat here weekly, sometimes more than that. I've had most of their food and I like it all, I usually get bean, cheese, rice burritos or super nachos. We have catered them before, the manager came to our house for several hours and had tacos for whom ever, I personally had 9 that day plus the left over meat when it was done. I plan on doing this again and hope others do too

This is a very, very good taquiera. You should try it. Especialy if you live in east Modesto. Doesn't matter what you get, you will not be disappointed. Good food, good portions, great taste.
Hubby said it wasn't the best Mexican food he had ever had, but it was decent. My food was good but I have no idea what it was; it wasn't what I ordered.
