Phenomenal. Do not be discouraged, step up to the plate and order with confidence. We got the lobster Benedict (along with baked goods), and my oh my I could eat this everyday. Light yet filling. Saltiness and acidity is perfectly balanced, garnished with what I believe was tarragon(?), but for sure the touch of micro greens created euphoria—paired beautifully with the sweet succulent sweetness of fresh berries and melon. Palette pleasing. You ever eat something so delicious it gives you a body high? I don’t know how else to describe it, just go try it. I haven’t mentioned the quality scone selection or the flawless barista work by Martin. No foam, wet foam, latte, chai, it doesn’t matter, he is a master of his craft, express what you enjoy and it will instantly compete with the best you’ve had. Temperature control, quality of espresso, the timing of combining ingredients—you don’t see perfection often, if at all, but when Martin is the mixologist, you see, hear, and taste it done right. This is the best you will get so go get it. Quality technique, quality equipment, and quality ingredients, but the cherry on top? The exceptional customer service. Not over bearing but there when you need them. I really respect and appreciate this business and everything they represent. Keep doing what you’re doing! SB, don’t take what you have for granted.

This is our favorite place in Santa Barbara / Montecito. We fell in love a few years ago and now every time we are driving to LA from the Bay or back to the Bay, we always stop by for a meal. Of course our most favorite is their French toast. But we also love their Pesto chicken sandwich, their desserts, Iced Chai Latte amongst other items.

We live locally in Montecito, and I love Jeannine's. Breakfast is always fresh, and delicious. I love the pineapple coconut scones and biscuits. Nom! There have been staff that have been less than welcoming but they do not last long. Management gets them weeded out quickly. People complain about the prices, but everything in Montecito and Santa Barbara is expensive because rents are off the charts. $30,000 a month rent for any business will drive up the cost of the product or service they are offering. I have no idea what Jeannine's rents are, but I do know that in the American Riveria, the rents are often in the tens of thousands a month, depending on location, so give it a break about the food costs. Jeannine's is a beautiful bakery cafe, enjoy the ambiance and great coffee, or better yet, have a mimosa with your scramble, and don't stress the small stuff. I miss Ruta, she was such a gem and a perfect fit for Jeannine's. I guess she moved back to Crested Butte.
