Great location within walking distance to downtown Mountain View. This motel has been recently renovated, but they really just put paint over everything put in a new shower with horribly tacky fixtures. The bed is comfortable and the place is clean.

Rooms: Hotel Aria is a great and safe place to stay. Parking was sufficient and the room is pretty spacious. We stayed at a room with a disability bathroom so it was more convenient for my pregnant wife to take a shower while sitting down. However the shower curtains was left in the bathroom uninstalled and there was also a step ladder there too. All in all, this is a good place to stay at if you are visiting stanford and the silicon valley companies.

Front desk kind at all hours. Space available in lobby to store bags a short while. Decaf coffee would have been appreciated in room and / or for breakfast. More fruit for breakfast bar would be lovely.Rooms: Comfortable chair, good lighting. We like Room 121 for easy access and quietness and have stayed there twice now . Thanks for reserving it for us. We will ask for it again soon!

Right next to great restaurant selection on Castro St. Room was clean and well maintained. WiFi connection in room was poor. Could not connect PC to WiFi and I know this affected people in other rooms too. If they got a new WiFi system, it would be great.

Check in was very simple and the staff was friendly. The room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. They had the best shower I’ve seen in any hotel with nice hot water and an overhead spout.

Good value sleep in freshly renovated rooms. Breakfast is really basic though. Parking is included. Short walk to several strip malls, to downtown Mountain View and a little anger walk to Mountain View Caltrain & light rail station.Walkability: Walk to downtown Mountain View in 5-10 minutes and to the Caltrain/Light rail in about 20-30 minutes.

No rooms available even though I had a reservation. Made a reservation on Exp. about an hour before, and it said there were 6 rooms available when I confirmed my reservation. Took an uber over to the hotel, and the woman at the front desk said they have no rooms available, including my reserved room. She was unapologetic, and blamed it on the booking website. She said she would call them so I could get a refund. But refused to do it while I was there. Saw the full charge for the room on my credit card. So I had to call Expedia myself to rectify and get refund. My expectations for this hotel were pretty low. But I did expect to actually have a room there when I arrived with a recently booked reservation. (Or a refund? Or any help?)As a consolation, she did tell me that I could walk down the street in the cold night and try to find a different hotel with vacancy.

Check in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable. However, their continental breakfast was REALLY limited...some sliced white bread and pre-packaged donuts/muffins. I think they need to improve their breakfast if they are going to include it in marketing.

For such a good budget price point, I was really surprised at how nice this place was. For around $320 I got a king sized bed in a nice room that I have no complaints about whatsoever. The one thing that was a bummer was people a few doors down having loads of their friends over late at night, all partying, talking, and fighting *outside their room* at basically a yelling volume. This went on, off and on, from about 10 pm until 3 am on one night. Definitely interfered with my sleep heavily that night as I had to wake up at 7 am.That being said, this isn't entirely in control of management, and I didn't bother to call the front desk to ask them to get it under control. However it was loud enough and close enough to the front desk that I was surprised they seemed to not do anything about it.All in all, the place was great, didn't feel like a budget hotel option at all. Just that one problematic patron throwing a super obnoxiously loud party was unfortunate. Hopefully that's a rare occurrence here.Rooms: Nice quality, no odors, frequent housekeeping service

A pretty good spot to stay, with a great location. The rooms are nice, and it's quiet enough at night. My only complaint was that it was really difficult to get on the WiFi when I stayed here.

Second stay here. Great rate, especially for the area, location close to downtown. Seems to have been recently renovated motor hotel: all rooms with entrance from outside. Large, superb shower, Keurig coffeemaker, refrigerator and microwave. Appreciated the daily housekeeping and comfortable king size bed, complimentary K-cups replenished daily. Free parking and wi-fi. Staff was cordial, and the blooming roses lining the walkways were a pleasant plus. Would definitely recommend for short stays - I expect to be back.
