Tried the Kuro No. 1 and Nabeyaki Udon here and both were so hot and filling on a cold and windy day! The Kuro No. 1 is a burnt garlic broth and their most popular item. Personally, I didn't love the flavor, but my boyfriend liked it. It wasn't as strong as the color made it seem. Nabeyaki udon was so perfect and had so many toppings in it, I was so full!
Super cute small Japanese restaurant. The food is super simple (but still tasty). The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is I had better Japanese food elsewhere but this place is extremely nice and convenient for a quick and reasonably priced lunch. (And the service was amazing)

This place is my favorite! I've been to almost all the ramen places on Castro and this is by far the best (especially for the price!) I come here all the time with my friends, their shoyu and veggie curry ramen are my favorites.The vibe of the restaurant is great, everyone is super nice, and I really love the outdoor seating. This place is a 10/10 in my books, I recommend it to all my friends. :)
