A man with white hair all in black attire wants to check my bag and I told him that I bought a can of soda and paid cash and I did not get the receipt. I told him to go to the cash register so I can show him the man where I paid cash. I have a back pack and a shopping bag full of items with my receipts inside. I'm dressed clean and he presumed I'm shoplifting I was willing to show him the contents of my shopping bag but he was very rude. Not coming back shopping 1/5. He said I was homeless. Not miscommunication but rudeness

Lots of middle eastern options and interesting finds like barberries and dried mulberry but quiet expensive for regular grocery items. Produce is ok but nothing comparable to Felipe's that is three miles away. Like their fresh pita.

The food that we bought last night on 3/1/24 was old and not fresh. We bought salad olovieh and ash reshteh!

All the food including ghormeh sabzi, gheimeh, kookoo sabzi and kotlet.Rice was cooked perfectly and had a generous portion of tahdig.

I've been coming here since it was in the old building. Consistent recipes, bursting with flavor. Food has actually gotten ever better. Rice is fluffy and they put the crispy rice on top. We always get a bunch of chicken and steak. Add some Shirazi salad with dressing on it. Great for a crowd. The grocery store attached is worth a wander and has things you can't find anywhere else. It's just a fun place to visit and locals are lucky to have it.

Nice small grocery store. Definitely no Safeway or whole foods though. Decent for if you're in a pinch and need something small.
