Great little pub. Food was surprisingly excellent. We loved the shepherds pie and Irish nachos. We went twice while in the area. They had bands both nights . The Thursday band Blue Monday was excellent and a lot of fun.
Busy place usually....family enjoyed the beer they had....
Vegetarian options: A small kids menu but looked like good choices
Parking: If the town is busy the street parking can be hard...there's a lot for parking below and 2 disabled spaces

Got seated and ordered drinks and appetizers before ordering main meal, 10 minutes later got drinks and after 40 minutes they said appetizers are on the way, after 50 minutes we paid the drink bill and walked out. Never going back, customers walked in after me got meals and left before I got out.

A perfect pub. Live music, lively service, and nachos. We came in for our second stop in Murphy's. They had all the drink info on the wall, a nice big food menu, and plenty of seating. The bartender who's name maybe Nick? Made us feel right at home. He was a step ahead of our needs the whole time as we sat at the bar and took over for an hour. We laughed and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I would consider that first class service. Ritz level, deep into Calaveras. Will be back for a stouty pint.

We discovered this place last New Year’s Eve on a very rainy weekend. Best pretzels of my life. The shepherds pie was basically the reason we came back this new year’s weekend from 3 hours out of town. This time we also got the bangers and mash and GOOD LORD, if you don’t know Jesus yet, the food here will introduce you. Husband and I cleaned our plates.Bonus points if you catch this place on a dreary day to set the Irish mood.
