Really special and interesting! As a treat for surviving Marxism in the Bay Area for the last four years, I took myself out for a special dinner. Although they weren't officially doing omakase, the server said he'd set something up with the chef. 10/5. Amazing. I would come back again. Great service and the food is fantastic. Their mai tais are the best. The crispy potatoes are amazing, chicken katsu was juicy as hell, everything was perfect and fast.

Miminashi is closing, you guys. I have eaten here a smattering of times since they opened, and everything I've had is delicious. I especially loved the various grilled izakaya meats, as they are all cooked to perfection. The bar rolodex is also a sight to behold, with any kind of fancy cocktail that you can imagine. I will especially miss the ice cream window. Thanks for many years of good eats! <3
