I walked in and was behind a couple of people to order. At this time there was an employee explaining a hamburger to a customer. What goes on it, what doesn’t. Did I say hamburger? After a lengthy discussion between the employee and customer, the employee headed to the kitchen to prepare the burger. At this time the customer loudly called to the employee and said “what about cheese”.At this time the employee slowly made his way back to the counter and said “we call that a glorified hamburger”, let me explain that to you”. So WOW, the employee started explaining a cheeseburger. All the while the person in front of me and myself were patiently waiting to order. I got the feeling that the longer the cheeseburger discussion went that hopefully those waiting to order would decide to go away. That’s exactly what I did.Further, the guy explaining a cheeseburger was taking orders then heading back to also cook. This place is terrible when it comes to service. I wasn’t acknowledged or helped. I went away hungry. I would tell others to avoid this Carls Jr and head up the street to McDonald’s where the employees actually care.

The food was good, and exactly what I expected from Carl's Jr. What gives this a 5-star rating is the customer service that the Shift Lead (Corvell) provided. It was one of the most positive experiences I've had at any fast food restaurant. He was all about customer service (attention to detail, helping with faulty straw, and service with a smile), and it was genuine. I don't write a lot of Yelp Reviews, except when my experience is noteworthy, and this one definitely was!

I am not particularly picky, especially when dealing with fast food hamburgers. The service was barely adequate. My wife had to use the men's room as the ladies room would not unlock. The staff of no help, simply telling us to use code, which did not work, twice. Then I pick up a burger that literally leaks a tablespoon or more of water from the wrapper and tastes like cardboard, I have to draw the line. Worst burger I have ever had.

I didn't eat anything, I was on the road and lost because GPS was messing up. An employee settled me down and gave me directions from her phone and wrote them down. She was my Angel that night!
