I wish I could give more stars! Absolutely love this place, have been coming here for years and have never ever been disappointed, this visit we had an amazing waitress Robbie, who was such a delight. Will be back and will always recommend!!!

I was on a cross country road trip, pulled off the highway for gas and just happened upon this place for breakfast. I wish I could recall the young woman’s name who was the server for the back room. I sat watching her greet regulars by name, knew if the drank coffee, and had such a positive personality. She genuinely appeared to love what she was doing. What an asset she is to any business. Wish I could recall her name but I suspect the owner knows who I am writing about.Food by the way was great.

As always the Wagon Wheel was a pleaser....got my usual salmon florentine and he tried the spaghetti this time....everything was super....love the TEXAS size glasses of tea.....even the pie i forgot to take a pic of was amazing....OUTSTANDING service....FABULOUS food....BEST stop on 40 in California.10 thumbs up??????????

Old time classic restaurant that serves good hearty food at fair prices. Worth a visit if you stop off in Needles.

The restaurant is quaint and staff friendly. Our waitress Niecee was great and attentive. My husband had Salmon with mash potatoes and green beans. I had a California beef sandwich. We shared an appetizer sampler and all of it was so very good. The restaurant is on the old route 66 and is decorated with that type of memorabilia. So much fun and good food.

Fast friendly service. Good food. Generous potions. Easy access. Big rig parking. Closes at 5pm. Nice folks. On Route 66

I'm an honest person so first let me say that the food is 10/10. If you are going to get food to go or something do yourself a favor and stop here... but... the servers (we had two) seemed to be a bit confused and disorganized and the restaurant was hot. My fiance and I were sitting at our table almost sweating because it was so warm in there and the small bathroom that was close to use was extremely hot and also dirty. The food was wonderful but the atmosphere was lacking.

Great food and friendly service. This was my first time eating here, but not my last…

Amazing good food with an extensive menu and breakfast all day! The wait staff was amazing and so nice! We are so glad that we stopped for lunch. You will not be disappointed!

0 star if possible. It would take chapters to fully describe the experience we had here. The kid's orders vanished, the waitress short changed us, it took forever to get service. The only reason we stopped there was because the Route 66 Passport has it listed. This time through we did some of Oklahoma, all of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California. The California leg of the trip was so bad we used Disneyland as a backup plan to save that part of the trip. Except for a cool gas station in L.A. Route 66 in California has very little to offer and hardly makes it worth the trip. I would have rather seen more of Oklahoma.

My husband and I had an overnight stop at Needles, so we checked out this old fashioned restaurant as it's a signature of this location. We called to have a pickup order because it was too hot that night. The lady was nice on the phone. Everything was great! Service and food were impeccable! We went there again for breakfast. It was still soooo good! I highly recommend this place for anyone who is coming to the Needles, CA area.

The service here at the wagon wheel surpassed exceptional. Every day we have visited we are greeted kindly, quickly, and in the most welcoming manner. The atmosphere resembles a western Gunn shooting salon and the Arnold palmers are plentiful. After being stationed near by and stoping in for breakfast and dinner the energy and food never failed us. Not to mention the old cowboy who always waved goodbye at the front door. Try anything off the menu, we literally had everything. Thank you for having the Inland Empire fire crew.

I had the half BLT and salad with fries. Fresh and crisp salad. Sandwich was tasty. Fries just right crispy. Service was prompt with a smile. Love that you can get breakfast, lunch or dinner items all day. Next time, I would like to try the pot roast dinner.

Fast, friendly service and the chicken fried steak is to die for! Nostalgic eatery located on a section of historic US 66 in Needles CA offering a respite to weary travelers between Flagstaff and SoCal.
