100% a-ok ???i love Sees Candies, always have. this location is small but top notch (i bought two boxes of candies) the young woman at the counter helped me from the minute i walked in until i paid and left AND offered free samples (which were absolutely delicious). so happy to see that they are every bit as good as they have ever been, even under private equity ?. love love love. ??

It goes without saying that See's Candies offers consistently high quality candy and a wide variety of choices, at that. What varies across the locations, however, is the customer service and the overall customer experience. Having been a regular customer since a pound of See's was $2.25 (as I recall being handheld by my grandmother into multiple southern CA locations), I have not found a See's store in all my travels that has such a high level of customer service as this store in Corona del Mar. Each employee seems genuinely nice, happy, and intending to focus on the customer in front of them. This is true despite the two interactions so often inflicted upon store employees by executives sitting in corporate offices who probably have little to no actual in-store experience and believe is productive and profitable: 1) the reflexive "Hi, welcome to [insert store name]" and 2) the upselling invitation guised as introducing customers to new or underselling items. The customer service at this store is so good that even these interactions feel genuinely offered to customers. Since this store's customer service excels over other See's stores, this means to me that the leadership at this store values solid interviewing/hiring/training practices and a healthy work environment. All of this helps when purchasing a fine candy whose price has far outcompeted the rate of inflation over the decades. I would say that their salaries should do the same but that would mean another huge price increase. All in all, this is a great brand and this store outshines all the others I've visited---and that is a lot of See's stores.

I have so many good experiences visiting See's Candies since I was a kid. The staff always seem very friendly and helpful. They always offer a free sample when you visit too. I like the quality of their products and their prices are reasonable considering the excellent quality. I would recommend this place.

I buy chocolate candies at this See's Candies for special occasions. The staff at the front counter has always been very welcoming and helpful. All of the candies are neatly arranged in their display cases, so everything is very easy to see if you're assembling a box of chocolates for family or friends. When I bring my kids into the store, they always get a free chocolate to eat, and then, they don't want to leave the store. All of the chocolates are fresh and delicious!

This is my favorite store, can't say enough good things about it. Janet is always so kind and remembers me every time with a big 'hi'. I was gone for quite a few years as I moved away and when I came back she still remembered me. Now that could say I just eat a lot of See's Candy or that they are just amazing there. Maybe it is a bit of both, but really it is they are do go out of their way to make your experience as good as their candy is. Thank you.
