We chose shrimp for every dishes, and they gave so much shrimp. ordered side of rice, they literally brought whole rice cooker.On the top of that staff will treat you like your family.def go back. Excellent atmosphere. A nice small place. Felt very homey with friendly service. We ordered the Tom Yum noodle soup and pineapple fried rice. The flavors were authentic and rich. We’ve been to many Thai restaurants before but this was on a different level! Definitely recommend this place!

Ordered drunken noodle via takeout with chicken. Waitress is very nice and hospitable. Food is good but noodles were kind of stuck together. Chicken was tender, overall flavorful dish. Tasted a tad better when previous owners ran the place.

let me be honest, and I say this as a customer of 10 years. I've been coming here since I was in elementary school and always loved the tom yom soup and pad see ew among many other items. And it's become a habit to come to Bua Siam with a family member or two whenever I'm in noho. However, I think i'm gonna change my mind on that because of this new ownership. The new ownership didn't originally bother me, but the last few dishes i ordered from there just tasted bland and off balanced. It is clear that they got rid of the old thai ladies that were very talented cooks. Similarly, the entire aesthetic of the restaurant has changed. the stripped the hell out of the thai decorations and americanized it with some random beach decorations? I expected the yelp page to be poorly rated, but I guess it's still inflated from the years of hard work the previous owners put in.

Tak is amazing. I come here for the boat noodles and papaya salad. The crispy catfish with papaya salad is a crunchy and spicy. Boat noodles have tasty soup and it has a generous portion of noodles.

I came here today with my boyfriend for a late night dinner and it was genuinely the best Thai food we’ve had in a very long time. The waitress was super sweet and friendly and made sure we were comfortable and that our water cup was always filled. The food was perfectly seasoned, very satiating, and not too greasy like a lot of other Thai restaurants. The waitress recommended the basil fried rice which tasted amazing. We will definitely be visiting more frequently now! ❤️ thank you for the amazing service and delicious food

Food here used to be phenomenal. However, they’ve made changes recently for the worse. I ordered the Bua Siam noodles, and they tasted like rotten fish - I’m not sure what went wrong, but it may have something to do with them being understaffed. That’s the other issue - kitchen here is understaffed. I can’t recommend Bua Siam anymore.

Sucker for the crab fried rice and some fish sauce over top. Thai tea is strong and sweet. Food is tasty and priced well. This is our second time through -- Tak offered excellent recommendations when we wanted to try something new and remembered what we liked when we returned a couple of weeks later. When we didn't finish half our lemonade, Tak offered to make it less sweet and topped us off for the ride home. Comfy decor with benches along the wall + pillows

First and foremost, they do true Thai level spicy So if you are even remotely on the fence, I would highly suggest you go milder and add spice as you need!I ordered the Tom Yum Noodle Soup and it was delicious. Personal preference, it might be just a tad sweeter than I like but overall it was great! All the ingredients added A wonderful mishmash of flavors and textures so it broke up any possible monotony of flavor. I ordered a mild just to be on the safe side and boy am I glad I did! It was just on the border of a little much. I usually go for medium in many other spots. I would also take an initial scoop of soup by itself to prep yourself so you don't cough on the fumes hahaha. It was delicious and a decent size!I also ordered a large iced Thai coffee to go with it and Now that is what I call a large! It was delicious as well! I drink some of it today and poured some of it in my thermos double walled bottle to enjoy for tomorrow!Service was great! She was so so very nice!Had an overall great experience. Hole in the wall style, but I kind of like that!

What better things could I say about Bua Siam! the staff is always super friendly wether you are ordering to dine in, take out, or delivery. THE FOOD!!!! may i recommend the panang curry, tom yung soup, MANGO STICKY RICE & seasonal coconut ice cream they make in house! i'm never disappointed no matter what i order! dining area is intimate & you can see the staff in the kitchen which i love because they are all older women so you can truly taste the authenticity. i've been eating here for about 10 years & unless i'm in a different city too far craving thai, this is the spot! thank you guys for your delicious food and excellent service!

Very good Thai food! I always get the cashew beef with a side of fried rice. I love how you can get a small fried rice.. a lot of places only sell the fried rice as a full meal. My go to Thai place since I moved to this area!
