Panaderia La Colmena #1

I was looking for good pan dulce and found Panaderia La Colmena #1 right across the street from Home Depot.
Sometimes pan dulce will taste like old oil but not this place. Their breads were delicious, full of flavor and not greasy at all. Even the cornbread was yummy!
The woman working the counter was friendly and chatted with me a bit. I wish my Spanish was better so I could really have a conversation with her.

I gave this place a call because I’ve been looking for a pan from Guanajuato called (acambaritas). I was expecting to be greeted properly and maybe get some information but the lady who answers the phone turned out to be rude. Was going to give this place a lot of business but it takes just one phone call to decide what type of people your going to be working with so, no thank you! I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Although this location will do in a pinch, the more spacious Colmena #2 location that's only just a few blocks East from this one is preferable. The second location has much more variety to enjoy from, and not to mention friendlier service. ?
