What a terrible loss this is to not have Spumante in the neighborhood any longer. Very sad. We've had many wonderful experiences there over the years.

Food was delicious. They were out of Calamari so we got the Bruschetta and it was delighful. Ordered lobster ravioli for myself and it was so good. Everyone was very accomodating and friendly. Thank You, Spumante!

I came here by myself to have a night of good Italian food and a book. The waiters here were so kind they even brought me a book stand! And the food was delicious.

My fiancée and I LOVE Spumante. We moved away for a few years and we missed the Linguine Salmone so much that we would try to make it at home. Spoiler alert: ours wasn't even close! The Penne Spumante is another favorite of ours. All of the food is fresh and delicious and the staff is attentive and wonderful. It's a perfect date night atmosphere. We try to go as much as we can.

Delicious pasta and cooked perfectly. Ive tried their bolognese and alfredo. Hearty portions. I just love their complementary and large bread! It is such a good texture, fragrant, delicious. I will keep ordering from this restaurant for my Italian cravings!

Good Italian food and great service! I miss the restaurants with the unlimited amount of bread, and this place has it. They give you fresh bread and butter (and olive oil and vinegar if you ask). My family and I ordered the bruschetta, gnocchi, chicken marsala, seafood pasta, Cathy's favorite, apple strudel, and limoncello cake. The bruschetta was delicious. I thought the gnocchi tasted different than normal, but it was still good. The chicken marsala could have been better. The seafood pasta was great. And the desserts were phenomenal (my favorite part). The service of the place was great. The waiter was incredibly friendly and always checked up on us. The place tried to separate indoor tables far enough so that each party has some space from each other. Overall, definitely recommend trying this place out! I really liked the desserts here!

First time ordering from them last night for to-go and so happy we did cause it was delicious, fast, and had proper portions for the price! We got the mushroom ravioli, lobster ravioli, & tiramisu and enjoyed everything! Also love that they provided us with plates, utensils, grated cheese, and 2 servings of bread! Only thing missing was red pepper flakes, evoo, and balsamic vinegar, which we had at home anyway. Order via Yelp was convenient and they had it ready by the time I came in to pick it up (earlier than ETA)! Will definitely be back & maybe try dining in next time!

Great service & great Italian food.Convenient free parking in the connecting building. The Calamari Fritti was light and crispy and the dipping sauce was spicy, but not too spicy. The Risotto di Mare was pretty good to excellent, depending how you like your risotto cooked. The shrimp, mussels & clams in the Risotto di Mare were cooked perfectly and the taste was authentic, but the rice was slightly undercooked with a slight crunchiness, but if you like your risotto al dente, then it was cooked perfectly. After all, it's not called the "death dish" dish for nothing.(‾◡◝ ) The corn soup, which was prepared without using any cream or dairy product, was creamy flavorful, and tasty. I know, creamy without cream! The service was attentive and friendly. Definitely a keeper!

Came to Spumante after spotting it on Yelp. I called to make a reservation for two at 8:15 on a Saturday night. The gentleman who answered the call was ecstatic & put us down right away. Upon arrival, we parked in the small parking garage out back for this small marketplace, so parking was not an issue in this bustling area of North Hollywood. If the spots for this restaurant are taken, though, that might be a different story. As we walked in, we mentioned our reservation & were immediately seated. The gentleman who seemed to be the man who answered the phone earlier (he's most likely the owner), immediately pulled our chairs for us to sit as his waiter, Martin, attending to our drinks. I requested "Coke" and within two minutes, the owner brought me "Coke," which was a hilariously genius joke (picture attached to this review). He brought over a plate with three lines of flour & a straw... you know where this is going. Never have I seen such hospitality and sense of humor at a restaurant. The dining room is immaculate & spacious with big windows overlooking Magnolia Blvd. and the other restaurants in town, so it's a very nice sight to see. Onto the food, we ordered Bruschetta as an appetizer -- delicious. As for entrées, we ordered Cheese Ravioli, Lobster Ravioli, and Fettucine Alfredo with Chicken and Mushrooms. One waiter placed the food down on the table, while another came by with a bowl of Parmesan & asked to tell him when to stop pouring it onto our food. Now, I had him put one good spoon of Parmesan onto my Alfredo, which I thought was enough. Then I took a bite of my dish and realized how delicious the cheese was & I needed more. What a RICH dish, one of the best Alfredo pastas I've had around. My girlfriend and I shared the 'Lobster Ravioli,' which I thought was superb, but it was a little too seafood-tasting for her. And finally, she had the 'Cheese Ravioli.' She's not a fan of marinara sauce at all, but she wanted to give it a shot. By the end, she said that's the best marinara sauce she's ever had & she thoroughly enjoyed the Ravioli as well. All in all, Spumante boasts an incredible staff, a delicious dinner, and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you, Spumante. We will definitely be back.

Decided to go here because of the consistent reviews seen on Yelp. Food: Overall very average. I could have made better marinara at home :( Everything was served hot but super rich and oily. Meatballs were disappointing. Seafood shell cleanliness not up to my personal standards. Tasted very buttery and rich. Tasted as if a stick of butter were in every plate. Bread is soft squishy white bread crust is also soft. -Calamari is not a light calamari but dark and more deep fried. Little chewy but nice with the spicy marinara. -Bruschetta was average and the bread it came on was a dry cracker texture rather than a toasted bread. -Clam Linguine in white wine sauce- noodles were soft, sauce was so buttery but bland, and needed more flavor in general. Quite watery. Seafood it came with was in shell, and the muscle shells weren't cleaned very well :( Spaghetti with meatballs, homemade pasta was too chewy and drenched in a buttery tomato sauce, meatballs tasted old and had an aftertaste as if they had been frozen. Environment: This restaurant is a very open layout and passing by tables on our way in and our was just a little awkward because of the intimacy. Window seats are right next to the sidewalk so you will see passing pedestrians. On a Saturday night it was not busy which was fine as any more busy would have felt a little congested. Size of the water glasses and ratio of ice will have you a bit parched. Service was great, attentive and quick.

Thanks to Yelpers for helping us find a place to meet and dine with family that just flew in. All five of us tried something different and all seemed to be pleased. We shared bruschetta and calamari. We ordered veal chop, lasagna, linguine salmone, spaghetti n meatballs, and spaghetti bolognese. All plates were cleaned in the end. When I'm north I will look forward to trying my favorite linguine cozze-vignole (mussel & clam). Parking is directly north of the entrance to restaurant otherwise good luck since there are many small businesses and apartments in the area.
