This place is really so delicious... I'm posting this review for the first time because I want more people to try this chicken... Among the chickens I've had at OC, this is the most delicious. Especially the seasoning in this house is the best!!!!And I liked that the staff were so friendly :)

First and definitely not the last time. Came in at prime lunch hour. Ordered quickly and got some good suggestions for the woman at the register. I ordered the Kimchi Chicken sandwich. Food was made to order and was received hot. It was DELICIOUS. It was quite saucy and a bit of a mess but that didn't take away from hot flavorful and fresh it was. Definitely will be asking for it extra spicy. Many things I want to try my next time out. Overall, the place is clean. Staff is great. Great ambience, a couple of TV's on the walls and music playing. Tables wiped down quickly.Parking: A couple of spots up front and about 12 in back.

Absolute fire! This place specializes in Korean style fried chicken. Light and crisp breading, not too salty. Regular fries leave something to be desired, but the Rooster Fries and CT Chicken sandwich on pretzel bun were amazing. Chicken tenders were a bit with the kids. We will be back.
This is totally a hidden gem, everytime I go I have good tasty food and awesome service. The disco ball at night with the music is awesome as

The food was delicious and the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the cheese sticks were not cooked thoroughly. The breading was flaky not crispy. The service was spot on! Very friendly and answered all our questions. Ambience was on point! They played disco music which was ideal and complimented their disco ball!

Ordered over the phone and got takeout for lunch. Food was ready quickly. I got the army base stew and it was delicious! They did forget the cheese :/ but it was very flavorful. The spice level was like 3/5, slightly spicy but very enjoyable. Portion is hefty and comes with a lot of rice. I want to try their chicken next!
This place is a mom and pop owned shop with probably the best Korean fried chicken in Southern California. The chicken batter is on point and reminds me of Thomas Kellers fried chicken from his Ad Hoc restaurant in Yountville. The batter has a very clean flavor and isn't heavy or super oily tasting. The service is great and the staff are very nice. They have a chicken and rice bowl that's like a super upgraded version of those Yoshinoya bowls. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean. I love the disco ball.

Korean fried chicken is just so good and this place delivers it in spades. This place is straightforward so this review will be as well. I ordered a half Original Fried Chicken and what an explosion of sweet garlic and spices. Half a chicken with a side is definitely enough for two people. It also comes with pickled radish as well that perfectly offsets the sweetness and fattiness of the chicken. Call ahead if dining in or picking up since they make everything fresh to order, usually takes around 15 minutes. Order the sauce separately so the crust doesn't get soggy if you get it to go.The dining area pumps good music but the decor is relatively simple and spartan. It's in an area that makes it easy to park to pick up and go so I would recommend that over dining in since the little stuff like drinks and side orders can add up quickly. The combination of value, flavor, balance, and freshness makes Chicken Trooper a must try in Norwalk.
