First of all it’s $30 for a dozen tamales. Secondly, the tamales were absolutely disgusting I was really disappointed because they were okay before. They were days old, hard, super dry that it would crumble, and just plain old nasty I couldn’t even finish one. Never coming here again

This is a hole in a wall with some delicious tamales. I was originally going to amapola to get some tamales for my friendsgiving but thankfully they were closed and I found this gem instead. If you're going to want alot of tamales highly recommend to call in advance. Again I was lucky they had they right amount just barely.

Tried going today and found out this place changed to Taqueria Don Jorge #2 and they had very few tamales. Should close this page so no one else makes the same mistake based on old reviews for the former spot.

THE RESTAURANT HAS A GRADE BUT THEY DONT LET YOU USE THE RESTROOM WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY IF THEY LET YOU DINE IN. THEY TO FIX THIS PROBLEM BECAUSE IF WE COME WITH KIDS THEY CANT HOLD IT LIKE WE CAN.

The tamales they are serving are not fresh they are from north gate. Northgate is across the street from this place and you are wasting your money buying tamales from here when they are just reselling tamales.

Fresh tamales. Would highly recommend purchasing your tamales from this business. So amazing to wake up on a Sunday morning to a cup of coffee and a great tamale . Friendly person behind the counter.

The food had good flavor, but it took forever for us to receive our meals. The fries on our child's quesadilla plate were cold by the time we got the food. We were the only ones that had ordered food, so the place was not busy to excuse the wait. Overall, the food was good, but be prepared to wait quite a while. Do not visit if you're hungry.
