Another place I go to regularly and somehow never reviewed. This little place is the definition of a hole in the wall with fantastic home-made tasting food. The kimchi stew tastes as good as the ones my friends' moms make. They always use very ripe kimchi. Their dumpling soup is also very good with broth that actually has flavor. Their meats are all well marinated and the stone pot bi bim bap is awesome! They also give you tons of side dishes. Their prices are also much lower than most of the places nearby. The Aunties don't speak a lot of English but they're always so kind. Love this place. **Tip: if you prefer white rice make sure to ask or they'll automatically give you the rice with stuff like beans.

We really didn't enjoy it that much. We have had home cook Korean meals better. The Jokbal was the worst dish for me though. It was cold and didn't have any flavor or anything. I was really disappointed.

If you want a Korean food that is authentic and original, this is the place! It has that Korean grandmother's recipe vibe. If you know anything about Korean dish, you know grandma's have the best recipe. This place has that home cook meal vibe which you get from your mother's food. I thought my mom made the best Korean food but this place is better (sorry mom)

Delicious food. We ordered bi bim bap and noodles and it came with plenty of banchan. Well packed to go order.
This was my first time at Gohyanggip. They had a combo special which I asked if they serve on weekends as it was Saturday. She said, yes. I placed an order for Bigee jjigae / soondae side combo and spicy soup. There was no price on the menu for the combo. To my surprise the bill came to $50 which seemed kind of high with no receipt. The spicy soup and bigee jjigae were around $14 on its own. I thought wow the combo must be over $30! I took my Togo order to the next building to eat and I was surprised to see some jokbal but thought, oh that must be why the bill was so high because she charged me for the jokbal. We then discovered that there was no Banchan [side dishes] so I walked back and asked for some Banchan and they were like, no, it's there. I said, no, it's not. Instead of just giving me the banchan they said they needed to verify and charged in where we were eating. They realized there was no banchan but that we had jokbal which we all took some bites of. They were like, oh this was not yours and said, you didn't eat too much of i, and took it back. I was like, are you going to serve what we ate to another customer? It was their mistake but they made us out to be the bad guys. I lost my appetite and the food was not at all appetizing and didn't even eat half of it and tossed it in the trash. I will never go back there again.

The taste is good. I didn't come here for years, and although I feel it is slightly too expensive, the new owner brought a larger base of side dishes to enjoy. The new owner brought online ordering and delivery. The food is delicious.

My friends and I ate the dumpling soup, kimchi stew, bibimbap, spicy pork, and blood sausages. It's traditional food that just warms the soul, body, and mind. Give it a try!
