Super cute place for a chill hangout or date. There are a couple of outdoor picnic tables in front of a small pond. We couldn't miss out on the 6 cheeses for $40 deal, they are closer to the expiration date but not just yet. Extremely worth it if you can finish it all prior. Christine welcomed us warmly at the cheese booth and was very knowledgeable on all of the different selections, you'll be lucky if you run into her! You can also order sandwiches, coffee and ice cream at the other booth. There's so many cute gifts, souvenirs and artisan food items sold here. Dog friendly but on the picnic areas only.

Amazing experience at Marin French Cheese Company. The cheeses were absolutely AMAZING! The customer service from Kristy was TOP NOTCH! She was knowledgeable of all of the cheeses and gave me some great ideas of how to serve and pair some of the cheeses for the holidays. After we purchased a plethora of cheese, we ordered sandwiches from the shop and enjoyed them outside by the pond. Thank you Kristy for the STELLAR customer service!

A nice stop on your way to Point Reyes Station. They have a few benches where you can have a picnic in front of a beautiful pond. The store offers hot and cold drinks, ice cream, and a variety of cheeses. You won’t regret visiting this place!

Although the setting is nice in the hills with a large pond and picnic tables, my expectations were not met. We were offered tastes of a few but very limited number of cheeses. Prices are fairly high on cheeses and other items for sale seemed overpriced. We ordered sandwiches but heard that yellow jackets drove in other eaters so remained inside. The sandwiches tasted good but were on the small side for the price.

This is a great stop to break up a long drive. We ordered a few sandwiches to enjoy outside and they were all very good. An employee offered some cheese samples while we waited; the breakfast Brie was my favorite. They have a great selection of local goods, snacks, and beverages as well.

Some of the best soft cheeses you can find. It's sold all over the Bay Area, but when you stop here it's WAY cheaper... no additional mark up. Sometimes they even have clearance sales if they have too much product and you can score big. Once got 8 wheels of Brie for $30. Ended up giving to all the neighbors in holiday baskets. Great place to take out of towners on the way back from Pt. Rayes.

Absolutely amazing experience. Wonderful cheeses and the employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain how all the cheeses are made and there differences. Great outdoor seating area to enjoy your cheeses.

I grew up going here when it was the cheese factory, and I was excited to bring my husband and kids for the first time. But... I was shocked by just how horrible the grab-and-go sandwiches were. They were basically inedible. Stale, dense bread, a thin single piece of odd-looking meat, almost no greens (you could have counted the few soggy leaves), and sauce that overwhelmed everything, including the cheese, which you'd think would be more noticeable at a cheese shop. We got the turkey and the roast beef, but it was the same situation for both. I truly hope that the meat was just weird-looking and isn't about to make us all sick. I almost brought them back inside for our money back, but with my two little kids and their poorly organized cafe, I didn't have the energy. Oh AND it took fifteen minutes to get a kid's box, which was just a pb&j with other pre-packaged items. I'm so sad that this place isn't what it once was, and I hope someone comes in and does a big overhaul. There's more to a good experience than cute branding--hopefully someone on their end figures that out.

Rich and creamy and delicious in a beautiful atmosphere. The Staff provided excellent customer service and delicious samples. And the soft serve ice cream hit the spot sitting by the lake.

Bought some cheese little wine, sat and laughed at the ducks. Very romantic as we approach 19 years of marriage. It’s all about those spontaneous moments. I’m taking a little drive out in this direction only takes a few minutes but it’s a heck a lot of fun.
