This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was terrible. The food was awful and the environment is not worth dining at. There may not be a lot of options in town but I would steer clear of this place.

Fast service, busy but food was pretty good. Nothing too special, but it works. Great dessert menu, and the chairs were comfortable. Staff was lovely.

Our favorite spot in Oakhurst. It has a nice and clean environment. Big patio and pets friendly. This is a modern American cuisine with fantastic burgers and seafood. Food are delicious and worth the price. Great service. The only critique that I have is this place doesn't have vegetarian burgers and the scans of barcode only at the door but not on every table.

We were from out of state. The food was delicious for our whole group. It filled everyone up. The inside was clean and the staff was great. If we ever come back I would make a point to eat here. The views from the windows were a sweet bonus.

What kind of bar/grill closes at 8:30? Extremely disappointed. Stayed at the hotel and walked down with the wife to have a drink sound 9:00, only to be turned away. Very bummed.

Good restaurant when staying in the Oakhurst area. Needed more servers the night we were there. Go early as it gets very busy and they close early.

We had dinner twice here and the food is good..however the sides of green beans and rice twice have been cold...I'm not saying warm..I'm saying cold..twice I haven't eaten the sides. Tonight I mentioned to the waitress and I hope something is done for future dinners. The food came out quickly which concerns me the plates were pre made thus the cold sides.

My friend ordered Chinese chicken salad didn't eat it nor did I get a photo chicken was way over cooked and burnt she could hardly cut it. Tried to let our waitress know but they were not interested. Then the shrimp Alfredo the shrimp came on a skewers with tails over cooked as well. No one waslnts to assemble the shrimp dinner prior the shrimp is better in the pasta. It was a disaster to pull off the damng shrimp tails and add to the pasta. Not a fan of the way it was served. The shrimp stays moist in the pasta.the best part were the sweet potato fries. Altho I ordered appetizers all food came at the same time this is irritating to me. If i order appetizers then it should be served prior to dinner. Thank go's for the coconut shrimp.

They say here they have vegan options but if you look at their menu, there are none. We tried to eat there but couldn't. Hopefully they will add some or fix their listing here that indicates there are vegan options.

We had dinner in the restaurant after a long day in Yosemite. The food was great, they have good options both for kids and adults. The service was excellent. We had the rib-eye, hamburger and pasta and everything was excellent.

My family had the best time here when we stayed in Oakhurst for our Yosemite visit. We were so impressed with the friendliness and service at the Oakhurst grill we came here two nights in a row. The crowd favorite was the pictured pretzel - it was nicely salted, both warm and soft, and served with a delicious BEER cheese. We visited in early May, and I'll tell you, I can't stop thinking about this pretzel! The rest of the food was also fantastic (but I'm telling you, the pretzel - you have to get it!). I highly recommend stopping by if you're heading up to Yosemite, it seems like there's a good amount of friendly locals who eat here, which oftentimes how you know a place is very good. Thanks to the staff!

Food was good, especially the appetizers we had - garlic and parmesan fries and coconut shrimp with grilled pineapple. Sizeable portions. The short rib pasta was not as tasty as the other dishes we ordered. I wished the waitress read back our order so we wouldn't end up accidentally with an extra dish to pay for.

Wow! Excellent restaurant! Great location, easy access on hwy 41 with plenty of parking as it sits on the Best Western hotel property. I'm giving 4 stars because our "excellent" experience began once we were finally seated. Dealt w/some frustration during our wait to be seated. Upon arrival we were given a pager and told it would only be about 15-20 mins (we waited almost 40 mins) but my frustration was 1.) with the whiskey bar, and 2.) the host staff... I asked if we could go get a drink in the bar and they were a bit rude about it-said there's probably no room in there but I walked right up to the 1 open seat to order a drink with the plan to take out in the lobby. Then one of the hosts walks up to my sister and says "you can't be in here, you need to go wait outside" seriously? No way are we going to sit out front because not only does it smell like sewer out front but they have an out of control fly problem as well! No thanks we wanted to wait in the lobby. That's where we witnessed the stressed out hosts in action. But first, back to the whiskey lounge... I asked the bartender "can I order a drink and bring it into the lobby while waiting to be seated?" And she says yes. Ok great! But she never takes my order. Neither do either of the other 2 working behind the bar. No one acknowledged me, no eye contact, not even an "I'll be right with you" they just kept making drinks or moving glasses around etc... I sat there ready to order a drink for quite some time and nothing? So I got up and walked out. We all continued to wait in the lobby. Watching the host staff handle the flow of incoming customers. One of the gals was clearly overwhelmed and even rolled her eyes a couple times at customers. That same gal tells our host, who was getting ready to finally seat us, "no that's the wrong table...it's for someone else" SERIOUSLY? Our host who had just said "Right this way" she had just told us a few minutes prior that we were next and literally showed us the list. WTH? Super unorganized and unprofessional. Our meal was fantastic! Our server was also wonderful! He was attentive, helpful, funny and just made all that other stuff disappear! Everyone loved their food! The short rib pasta dish my husband had was great! The other couple we were with loved their grilled salmon and my chicken piccata was yummy! The only thing was part of each of the chicken breasts were a little dry and I'm thinking it was due to them not pounding out the breast fillets (which is usually how piccata is made)?? Regardless it was tasty! Highly recommend! Do not miss out on this one while visiting the area! Sooo Worth it!

I ate here a couple of times while staying at the Best Western and really enjoyed the selections. I noticed even the town locals would come here to eat and celebrate special occasions. I tried the steak, fish and chips, and clam chowder sourdough bowl, and they were all delicious. The dining area was always roomy and clean, and the service was excellent. You can't beat a really great tasty restaurant just a few steps from your hotel room :)

So glad we decided to dine here on our Yosemite trip. Would absolutely return again and again for the delicious food! Our initial start was a bit rocky as the manager(?) seemed reluctant to allow our party of 4 plus dog to be seated on their outdoor balcony that had previously been advertised as dog friendly. We weren't about to push the agenda and would have been understanding of their right to refuse, but her brusque slightly cold manner caught us off guard. She agreed to seat us at the end of the balcony after instructing our party that our dog had to stay clear of the aisle in case of an emergency requiring evacuation. We agreed that in such a scenario, it would be unlikely we would decide to stick around regardless of how great the food was and we're promptly seated. Despite the weird start, I am happy to say their overall service (especially that of our waiter Chris) was absolutely awesome! Chris was extremely friendly, personable and down to earth. He took the time to not only explain the menu and give suggestions, but also engage in light but very pleasant conversation. At his suggestion, we ordered the jambalaya pasta and schnitzel. We also ordered a burger and clam chowder bread bowl. It's a rare thing when one has an equal appetite for every single dish on the table. The food was that good! From the basic crispness of the fries to the spices in the jambalaya, I honestly enjoyed every bite and would recommend it all! The biggest surprise wasn't the schnitzel or the pasta (those were fantastic as expected) but in fact, was the bread bowl! Most places just carve a hole in the sourdough loaf and call it a day. The chef here took the extra time to simply toast the loaf to add that extra edge of deliciousness. We were much too full for dessert unfortunately. But left happy and ready to return again!
