Was driving by to an appointment and came back to check the place out. Best decision all day. Greatest service. Locals gave us the scoop on the menu and what to get. It's hard to choose.

Love this chill local spot. The menu is pretty standard diner fare but all done really well. The pulled pork hash is one of my favorite breakfast items. Also a big fan of the lunch sandwiches. Most items come with a side of potatoes or fries (can upgrade to sweet potato fries too), so portions are pretty generous, especially for the price.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp.

The Fried chicken sandwich was amazing. The inside could use some love and care but the service was great.

Food is okay, service is good, but atmosphere and restaurant format is kind of broken (plastic silverware, designated condiment table, etc.).

Had a fried chicken sandwich, mild spice, and it was so full of well balanced flavors it was crazy. Truly didn't expect that excellent of food from an inexpensive corner sandwich shop. Server was genuinely friendly

10th and Wood has really average food. It's pretty consistent though as far as the food quality is concerned. It's reasonably priced and if you call in it's usually prepared fairly quickly. My biggest eef with this cafe is that they are not always open when they say they are. I feel they are always randomly closed. I usually get the patty melt. They could make it so that the patty melt is a bit more crispy.

A low-key sandwich spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Their sandwiches are pretty good, and their fries, both potato and sweet potato, are phenomenal. Probably the best fries in Oakland. Service is usually pretty fast as well.Vegetarian options: Garden burger and veggie sandwich.

Hidden gem. Their pull pork sandwich is super flavorful and i would highly recommend this!

The meat they use is the best part, serving sizes are solid, and the prices are fairly cheap (except for the drinks that are a bit expensive).Make sure to ask for extra sauce on the sandwiches though. Personally, I don’t think they put enough by default.

Somehow I got lucky today and was the last customer I got a fried chicken and some seasoned fries I got my sandwich with no cucumbers and no jalapenos it was so good that chicken on that sandwich was fried so nice and crispy I honestly thought they messed up and gave me a fried fish sandwich just by looking at it well seasoned well portioned
