My first foray into an Ethiopian meal. Everyone here aside us was Ethiopian and according to the patrons at the table next to us, regular locals, definitely a good thing if you're looking for authenticity. The food was served in thin rolls of spongy sourdough bread with which you scooped and ate the food. Delicious albeit spicy food, friendly staff, nice patrons, and reasonably priced.

Very good. I like it much better than Colucci, across the street, which in my experience is uniformly greasy and brown. The veggie combo is excellent - haven't tried any of the meat options. Friendly staff and comfortable seating, and there's even a back patio. Several varieties of honey wine including Orit, which is delicious, much more complex in flavor than the standard Enat Tej served almost everywhere else.
