The food was ok. I probably should have tried something different. The service was great. My only problem was the signage on the building ( where is it ) it said AU, but if you look down on the sidewalk, there's a small sign that has Chef Smellys written on it. Overall, I would go back.

Au Lounge was pretty good if you're in the neighborhood. The ambiance and food are great, the service was eh. We sat at the bar and the bartender was on his phone with ear buds in and I had to beg him to take my order. Asking about refills never happened or "would you like another drink?" The food was great. We had the fried chicken and the blackened shrimp with Mac n cheese and green beans. All of which was wonderfully flavored and tasted like it was cooked by someone who knew what they were doing. The service just needs a tune up.

This was my second time ordering from AU, and I must say, it was definitely worth the wait. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me through their menu and suggesting what to order, and they really delivered! The food at AU is absolutely delicious, and I have yet to be disappointed.Let's talk about the star of the show - the poboy red snapper sandwich. It was extraordinary! The red snapper was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. The fish was nestled in a scrumptious bun and topped with all the right ingredients that made every bite a delight. And let's not forget the fries! They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the perfect accompaniment to the sandwich.Overall, my experience at AU was fantastic. From the friendly staff to the mouthwatering food, they truly know how to leave their patrons satisfied.

We visited here from Atlanta on Friday night. Saw it on IG and went to check out Chef Smelly. The wings and cheesy bread was amazing and greens was my favorite. I was not feeling the Mac n cheese but the shrimp and fish did it’s job.

Went to Mua with some girlfriends and saw and heard AU. We had to check it out. We had an amazing time and closed the place down. Great music and cool people. Can’t wait to go again!!!

Beautiful businesses, always something going on weather it's a DJ playing good tunes, the local sports game or fine dinning. Always tapped into the community, Zanzi that is close by is owned by the same people and just as awesome as AU.

Food is terrible. Even the french fries were bad. They served us refrigerator cold garlic noodles(the bowl was hot but the noodles were super cold). Crack and Cheese(Mac and cheese)… crack is wack! Smh the food at this place is hyped. Owner is super sweet, drinks are good, its the food thats the problem.Update: My friends ordered crab they waited 2 1/2 hours but they said it was good but nothing else.

Hello I went to AU lounge on Thursday I ordered shrimp oysters greens and macaroni and cheese she charged me $53 with the gratuity added the credit card charge was $1.65 which the merchant was supposed to pay I was surprised it used to be my favorite place but after paying $53.65 I will never go back for four oysters for shrimp a small bowl of macaroni cheese and greens this is why black businesses are it's hard to stay open I will never go back and that used to be my favorite place.

The food was good but the service was terrible. Quick wait for a table but was hassled by homeless men in front of the security guard. Food took over an hour to come. Getting a drink at the bar took 30 minutes, standingin line, per the waiter's instruction. A little while later the bartender and our waiter personally delivered drinks to the table next us, flirting with the young women there. It just seemed like this business didn't really care about our experience as first time customers.
