We kind of ended up here on a fluke and with empty stomachs. We weren't into the experience just wanted the food. Our server, Toni, was accommodating about all of our reasonable ( and less reasonable) requests. We sat in a corner quite close to our neighbors but it wasn't too bad. The sound quality in their space makes it so you don't get bombarded but a lot of loud clanging. It's pretty upscale and the food is Michelin level amazing but also has a chill vibe.Goes without saying, we will certainly be back.Vegetarian options: The veggie options are just as amazing as the non. They are also good about accommodating veggie diets in any part of the menu.We got the peshe- Chilean Sea Bass which was so on point. As we are pescaterian

Came here for date night. It’s a small dining room which is cozy but goes to show how important lighting can be during a dining experience. It was very dark inside while sun was brightly reflecting inside, almost blinding. The pasta and veggies were delicious! The salad was too dry for my taste.

Certainly the best Italian food in the Bay, and among the best of restaurants I’ve visited in Italy. It’s usually booked at regular mealtimes but if you go for a late lunch in the afternoon you can get a seat easily. I love the spaghetti, the mushroom pasta, and the duck

I’ve been coming here for years and started when I lived in Oakland and they were new. Several years later, and I’m now an SF resident and I still come across the Bay to dine here once in a while. My hot take is that they serve up better pasta than anywhere in SF. My favorites are the pappardelle and casoncelli. Their veggies are all delish, too!

A neighborhood favorite, nestled in the charming Rockridge neighborhood. The salads are outstanding, you cannot go wrong with any of them. The agnolotti pasta was very tasty, with simple ingredients. The restaurant is on the smaller side and very intimate. The service was average. If you are looking for a spot with quality pastas, Belotti is a must try. They even have a pasta shop on Piedmont Ave where you can buy fresh pasta and sauces to go!

Spaghetti Pomodoro E Burrata - Hands down the best spaghetti in the Bay. It's a simple classic that they have nailed! The tomato sauce is perfectly balanced and the burrata topper pulls this creamy dream together. Their spaghetti pasta is unique and almost feels like miniature tube pasta...I honestly don't know how the do it! I've tried several of their other dishes but nothing comes close to their spaghetti! On a nice weather evening the outdoor seating is perfect and much more preferable than sitting indoor in my opinion. Order a bottle of wine and you have a perfect date night dinner.

This place is so good. Fast service, truly amazing pasta--like blown away at how much better hand made pasta is to processed stuff. A great little pick me up during lunch hour!

Best Italian restaurant for pasta in the Bay Area, place is small better get a reservation

In a COVID world you'd think cleanliness would be top priority but not here I have sever frustrations regarding my recent experience and will never go again. First 2 friends and I made a reservation for an inside table on a brisk evening, arrived and was told only outside seating was available. Second upon accepting said outside table requested a heat lamp per the hostess' instruction (why she couldn't do it or share with her peers I don't know) that took forever to be brought to our table. Lastly there were napkins and food particles left on the table and chairs from the previous customers. I'm disgusted these are the simplest things to not miss the mark on and they totally did. I do not recommend spending your money here.

My favorite Italian restaurant, with a mix of food and atmosphere that always leaves me smiling. The owner and chef, Michele Belotti, attends to each arena of the restaurant - the kitchen, bar and seating - with an attention that ensures excellence. The wait staff are attentive and friendly, paying close attention to people without hovering. I have come here often over the past 3 years, eaten most everything on the menu, mixing up pastas and sauces to my whim and never left unhappy. Make your reservations early - they are backed up for good reasons!

I am tempted to just say WOW! and leave it at that for the Italian restaurant that is the West Coast leader in house-made pasta, probably making the Only really superior fresh restaurant pasta that is still a value while attaining excellence in flavor and texture. Just try the agnolotti if you are a doubter, and enjoy the excellently chosen (complementary) california olive oil and bread that is a pleasant accompaniment to anything on their delicious menu. To note: Signore Belotti is also somewhat of an expert at selecting wonderful Italian wines to accompany your chosen selection and he continues to be a very genuine and personable gentleman in spite of all his success....Bravo Signore Belotti!
