Excellent coffee and good service. It’s a shame they were bought up by Nestle but if you have no ethical concerns about that then this place is great.

Fantastic coffee. The mocha is rich and flavorful without tasting like a pump syrup. There a strong but pleasant coffee flavor.Iced black cardamom latte was one of the best I’ve had. Same pleasant coffee flavor. They use large ice cubes which keep it cold and don’t get in the way as you drink.

Love ordering pour overs with the mobile app. When I'm a couple blocks away I place an order and then one of the best cups of coffee is waiting for me when I arrive.

Staff, especially Angela(?), were wonderful! But blue bottle coffee is served warm instead of hot. I'm guessing it's because of the glass carafe used in their pour over process. Philz' pour over coffee is served hot. My experience with blue bottle is that their pour over is warm and gets cold quickly. For me, that's a deal-breaker. :(

What can I say,... Blue Bottle makes delicious coffee, but it's a luxury that is few and far between for me. $7 + $1 tip for a cappuccino should come with a set of pins they have at the register!

I just had a delightful experience at this shop on Piedmont Ave. The lady who greeted me was so friendly with the most gorgeous, warm smile. She engaged my baby and was so nice. The barista max an immaculate flat white. A $6 coffee well deserved!!
Awesome location and friendly staff. Hits all the Blue Bottle atmosphere points - though not as stunning or open as their W.C. Morse location on Broadway. Feels like a neighborhood coffee joint for sure though.Parking: Lots of paid meters and paid lots, with free street parking a few blocks away.

Best coffee drinks in the US hands down. And I have been to them in SF, Oakland, San Mateo, Santa Monica, Brooklyn, Manhattan and all have excellent cappuccino, Gibraltar, espresso, consistent across the US. I don't know who teaches their baristas, but fantastic across the US. Out of any chain they perform the best at hiring only great employees, teaching them exactly perfectly, and keeping them consistent. Compare that to Peets that has gone completely downhill, worst coffee drinks, no one knows how to make an espresso drink, constantly changing employees, and a once packed San Ramon Peets is now empty and needs to close. Horrible, worse than Starbucks now, and that is pretty bad for how much you pay. I bet Blue Bottle pays its employees appreciably more than Peets.

I needed a place to work for a couple hours and was this was a great spot. The location is very clean and staff is friendly. There are small seating spaces which are great for 1-2 people or setting up your laptop. There's also a large round table for groups or shared area. My cappuccino was made perfectly!

It's a coffee shop. The egg n cheese english muffin was delicious but the pour over was a bit weak. Very smooth though. I don't know, maybe I just like coffee with a kick.

I couldn’t believe it. Just waited over 10 minute in front of the register waiting till one of the 3 barista acknowledge my existence. Finally when someone helped me it was over priced inconsistent beverage. Great job Nestle ruined good local companies.
