This place failed because they were ripping off the neighborhood!!!!! Whole food prices for food about to expire. Grocery Outlet had better products maybe next time the owner will keep greed out of his next venture.

I am so happy that I can shop here again they had this manager for a long time that was hostile last time I came here I thought he was gonna have the security guard shoot me ... I was afraid to shop here ever again ... my roommates told me yesterday he is not there anymore and so I went ... shelf's are stocked up again... staff looks happy and is nice again and is not afraid to get fired cause the manager fired anyone who tried to tell him he is scaring customers away or that they could restock instead of stocking customers .... So happy he is gone .... It's sad when u think you might get hurt real bad just cause you shopping .... But yeah thank god he is gone

The presence of this market in this neighborhood is so significant to what was previously a food desert for (West) Oakland residents. For this reason, I support this local market and hope they are here to stay. I also really appreciate the variety of products that reflects the diversity of cultures in Oakland. If you love Oakland , put your money where your heart is!

I found a good variety of groceries available here including fresh produce, frozen foods, dry goods, a snack bar, butcher with fresh meats and seafoods as well as personal hygiene and health products. There was a back-to-school promotional bagged group of items to help local school children as well. Thumbs-up for this Oakland food desert supermarket! ?

Didn't shop, I used the ups access point. The clerk was very polite & he answered all my questions about the departure & arrival times of my package.I had tried to use a different location closer to my home, but they didn't open on time. It was more than half hour past scheduled opening time. In the future I'll bypass the closer local & go to Community Foods.

Nice neighborhood grocery store. They have a good selection of produce at competitive prices. Think grocery outlet prices. The non produce items have less selection than a big store, but there is still plenty of choices. will go back for sure

This place is so awesome. I love how you can find organic healthy products in West Oakland, the stuff might be a little more expensive then a corporate grocery store. However the staff is always so sweet and you can find everything you are looking for!

It's taken me too long to leave this review, and I admittedly don't shop at CFM as often as I should. I love this market. Super convenient. Lots of parking. Everything you need in a footprint that's not too big, not too small. Fantastic produce section. The selection of products is just varied enough to provide an element of choice without the excess of a big box store. You can always spot me leaving with multiple containers of corn salad from the grab and go area. I'm not a particularly price-sensitive shopper, but the prices here seem fair to me, especially given the type of business and the convenience factor. Employees are super helpful and friendly. I also use the UPS access point at this location, and someone usually approaches me to that the package(s) from me as soon as I walk through the door. I appreciate having this secure location in the neighborhood rather than having to go to a UPS store or gambling with a dropbox. Each time I visit I'm reminded of what a huge asset this store is.

Its right by my house so sometimes I'll run in for a quick thing or two but I can't do my regular grocery shopping here it's way too expensive. Sometimes they have EBT discounts but for the most part I only come to this store if I'm too lazy to go to a different store. Good for all the rich people moving into the neighborhood though I guess.
