Tiny lil spot with big flavors of ice cream. First time in decades as a coeliac with lactose intolerance that I could enjoy a vegan ice cream with gluten free cone. Excellent selection of exciting vegan flavors too and not just vanilla and chocolate! Highly recommend stopping by.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free cones and vegan options!!!

The vibe is always great, make sure you get a stamp card because after you go the first time, you’ll most DEFINITELY be back.
I love the ice cream, but have had reservations about coming back because there is one staff member who is just so rude. At first, I was hesitant to write this review because I don’t want to give “them” a hard time ( using them because I’m not sure what their preferred pronoun is.) But after looking at the reviews it’s not just me. They act like I’ve done them wrong by coming to buy ice cream. It’s so unpleasant. Management should switch them out of the role where there is less customer contact.

Really cute little ice cream shop with really fun and thoughtful flavors. It's in Temescal alley which has a little bit of seating which is nice too. 3 stars because I've been coming here pretty routinely for 3 years or so and the employees always seem moody/miserable to be working there. Not sure what the deal is but they're always a bummer.

Very yummy ice cream. They have a ton of non-dairy options which is great. Service was good. Got to try a few flavors before choosing. There are a few tables to sit right out front. Definitely will be back.

I never write reviews but I was compelled to for this business. Ice cream is great but staff are so rude that it makes it not worth it. They seem genuinely angered by your presence, and yelled at the people behind me in line to wait outside even though it was raining. Also, what kind of ice cream place doesn’t allow samples? That’s half the fun of it

This WAS my go-to dessert spot in temescal but after my friends and I experienced rude and hostile treatment, we do not feel comfortable coming back.A group of friends and I (a mix of queer, non-binary, trans and all of us POC which is important for the context) came here after dinner for some ice cream. We walked in to take a look at the flavors and immediately, the person working the counter (also lgbtq+ but white) firmly told us we can’t all be crowding so only a few at a time at the counter. FYI, it was night and raining out and this is how we were greeted. We understand if we need to be in a line! But what bothered us was the tone. We don’t expect a smile and a hello but damn we at least deserve respect. And ALL of us caught that tone, which felt rude / not friendly at all.But whatever we got our ice cream and were just standing, enjoying it outside. Suddenly another worker comes out (female, fair skin) and then *also* RUDELY tells us to get off of the mats a couple of friends were standing on, we shouldn’t be standing on them. We were confused because the rubber black mats were literally just left outside in a messy pile wet from the rain and we had no idea it even belonged to them. Again with the attitude and tone! Why can’t y’all just be polite? At this point we were so done so we just walked away. For an establishment that appears to be inclusive of all identities, progressive, woke, etc… they sure were hella rude to a group of queer and COLORED folks! This seems like a friendly welcoming place but that was not at all the vibe we got that night. The fact that we were an entire group of people who all felt the same about what happened, says a lot. We did not feel safe or respected here which is a shame. This business should practice what it preaches which is community and inclusivity because it truly felt low vibrational on some big hater energy. And we all know targeted hate when we see/feel it. Check your privilege and do better.

Such a great ice cream corner, nestled in an alley in Oakland! Upon recommendation from the staff, we ordered the "single" and picked 1 scoop of the pumpkin pie (vegan) and 1 scoop of the bourbon vanilla. Tasters aren't allowed, so it was a bit of a gamble. But in the end, we were pleasantly surprised - the flavors were fantastic and the ice cream was very creamy.

Best ice cream around. Long lines in the warmer weather but worth the wait. Pro tip: skip the line, order online and pick up your pints or ice cream sandwiches to go.
Really great vegan ice creams. Not too sweet. Wish they did tasting. Don't like they still using masks and prefer for customers to use them

This place is a total gem. The people who work here are nice and the line moves quickly. Thank you for making so many vegan options (chocolate or vanilla bean soft serve, pumpkin pie, pistachio, ice cream sandwiches, pie -- always hard to choose!) Hands down the best!

Being lactose intolerant is a challenge, this place is glorious. Chocolate waffle cones and cookie dough ice cream that I can fully enjoy. I love the food in Huichin - Chochenyo Ohlone Lands #HonorNativeLand
