Long over due review, I had so many lunches and dinners here in the past year that the guys know me by my usual order. I keep and will keep coming back to eat here. Kind people behind the register and in the kitchen, very (!!) generous portions, burgers that are made to percection each and every time and also great sides options (try the frings). Always clean, always good, always great service.

My daughter and I are regulars at Flipside. While I consistently get the classic burger it is nice that I can get turkey or beyond or beef. Fries are good and the shakes are great. Nutella is a favorite shake. There isn't much decore. But service is friendly.

Ive been here twice so far, the foods pretty good, staff are cool and prices are nice would go here again

Burgers are good. Maybe a little overcooked when asked for medium. But my favorite thing is that they use REAL, FRESHLY chopped garlic for their garlic fries. Most places use the pre-chopped jarred garlic that sits in brown liquid and is super bitter. Not this place. REAL FRESH garlic for the win!!!

I love this place! I don't make it to this area of oakland often but when I found myself there I headed straight there. The ahi is great, reminds me of a food truck on Maui. Can't wait to go back again! And to top it off, I met the owner, and he was fantastic.

Clean bathrooms for the Win! Had a bacon burger and it was AMAZING. Great place to sit and chill after walking the lake. My guy Tiger helped me make a choice, funny and super informative of the menu. Excellent service T!
Looking for a new local burger place so I have this one a try. Loved the variety of not only the burgers but the fries as well. Also I love Boylan's soda so happy to see it here. And big pluses for a variety of patty options (beef, turkey, chicken, Portabella) I got the Bacon Blue and the burger was huge but very dry. They were generous with toppings so that saved it.

Flipside? Flip 'em the bird for me. They sent me a pink cheeseburger, a pinkburger. The meat was completely pink. I didn't order it that way. Ate 3 bites due to hunger. Spent 10 minutes on the toilet afterwards. Also they forgot my shake!! $36 ripoff..

Straight forward hamburger joint with a flare. I love the skinny fries and milkshakes. You will leave absolutely stuffed. Enjoy ?Parking: There is free parking available next to the Trader Joe's but there will be a nice walk to the location.

Man this place sucks. I ordered a burger, fries and shake thru Doordash $36!!. Never again. The meat was completely pink. Not sure how I ate 3 bites...then spent the next 10 minutes on the toilet. Flipside forgot my shake too. When I called flipside to ask them about my shake, they blamed it on the doordash driver. $36 bucks for a raw patty and fries? $36?? Oakland deserves better than this. The crime rate is insane because the citizens of Oakland are paying $36 for terrible food at flipside.

The food is great! Delicious and hits the spot just right. Service is great and friendly. And to be honest, loved eating inside because it's really chilled and relaxed! Completely recommend this place!
