At first, I couldn't find this place because it still had the former taqueria sign up. However, it's the only thing here so after a Uturn, arrived. The food was so good, but be aware, there isn't a lot of seating inside. The chicken batter wasn't too spicy and the catfish was perfectly flaky. The brown sugar lemonade was good (and I want to add tequila next time). There's no frills but plenty of friendly staff and street parking (no lot). This little hole-in-the-wall has some solid eats for around $10. Best fried catfish in Oakland! Cooks and staff are courteous. I eat here whenever I'm in the neighborhood. A local favorite!

Great idea well executed!! They are new so the space will be renovated. The people, food and vibe of the place are spot on!! When you're ready to feed your soul this is the spot!!
