The staff here are kind and always chat with customers/remember your order if you're a regular. Honestly, such great workers here (special shoutout to the weekday morning crew). My students (and staff) love the doughnuts. There is a wide variety of options ranging from vegan to cronut to old fashioned sourdough, but also all the classics. Don't skip on the breakfast sandwiches either! Really appreciate this local spot and the workers who make it happen.

My friend visited from Singapore and he was on a mission to try all of the best donut places in the East Bay. Happy Donuts was our final stop, a few hours before his 16 hour flight back and I'm glad it was the last! We tried 3 donuts: s'mores, bacon and maple, and a traditional glazed. They were each good but the classic glazed won out for us. Prices were reasonable (gone are the days of $1 donuts but at least they weren't $4 each!) and they had a good selection of vegan donuts, as well as a full espresso and coffee bar. Solid donut spot!

Very nice staff! Got to meet the chief baker and he was very cool. Recommend the Apple fritter. Best I ever had. The cronut was great. And we got a grilled croissant sausage egg and cheese which was pretty awesome.
So, I was super happy! The cashier was so cute and friendly. She has gorgeous red hair. My daughter told me about her. She looks out for her customers. Meaning she told my daughter how to really look out as she's walking. Someone is always trying to pick her up. She and I were vibing and friends! Until she told me saw Jodeci last night! One of my favorite groups! I wanted to scream. But all in all, customer service was A1! My daughter loved her donuts! That's Al that matters!

Donuts are probably some of the best I've ever had. Had a hiccup with the driver not delivering the full order + the pain in the butt of having to call in and get that dropped from the bill, etc. BUT their donuts are so incredible that I went ahead and reordered what was missing (paying delivery and service fees AGAIN) because, damn- if the donuts are that good, their sandwiches must be amazing too- right? Will update...OH YEAH, can confirm, dank AF. Get chu some!
