Had an amazing brunch here today. The Red Maple breakfast sandwich was delish and service was great! We sat on the patio and it was beautiful. Really enjoyed the rustic decor too. Will be back for sure!

Love, love, love this place. A bit expensive but worth it for a treat.

Really cute garden out back. Usually pretty quiet and a great place to get some work or reading done. Food is always fresh and delicious.

Nice local spot. This place is not cheap but quality of the food is high. Good service, nice coffee. outdoor seating.

So yummy! I had the mushroom soup and kale salad, and both were delicious. Decent portions, too.

Backyard vibes are some of the best around. The food is clean and fresh. They have healthy options, and tasty coffee. Miraculously parking has never been hard for me. It's a nice place to get a healthy meal and do a little work but NOT on the weekends... no WIFI, only chill time

My avocado toast had 3:1 bread to avocado ratio. Good room for improvement

Dankest dairy free cream of mushroom soup I've ever had! Sat outside at a table cause this end of February climate change sun is hitting. More than approving of this woman owned business.

This spot is charming and cozy, with excellent baked goods and coffee.

Okkk I'll say it... BEST AVOCADO TOAST EVER. The Acme bread is toasted perfectly. The avocado is perfectly ripe, and seasoned generously. Amazing poached egg on top. Even the freaking micro greens were good. Holy s**** I cannot say enough good things about this toast. I would eat this everyday for my breakfast if I could. Is it silly to give a place 5 stars just based on their avocado toast? Maybe. So take this review with a grain of salt!

Was meeting a friend in Oakland and I was excited to try this place after reading all the rave reviews, but sadly Julie's was a big disappointment. They had an issue with their card reader and tried multiple times to get it to work. By the time my latte was ready and I was still standing at the counter waiting, watching them insert my card again and again. The woman at the counter kept my credit card, to return to me later. Okay, I get it. Technical difficulties beyond your control. After getting my card back, I sit down, she comes over to my table about 10 minutes later, asking for my card again saying the transaction hadn't gone through. She was mildly apologetic, which I mildly appreciated. I probably would've been less irritated if the food I was consuming had been up to my expectations, but unfortunately it was not... What was all this hype around the broth bowl? Don't get me wrong, I love a comforting bowl of broth, which is why I was so eager to try it. But this was sorely lacking in flavor and depth. My friend tried it as well and gave me a look, commenting on how bland it was. The biscuit was fine, and the latte was probably the best out of the things I ordered. My friend was pretty happy with her egg sandwich, so maybe order that instead... It's a cute, casual spot to meet up. Ambiance is nice, I'll give it that, but my experience here was sorely lacking.

Decent coffee that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. What a world we live in where I can can coffee shop latte and a cookie and still stay in the $6 range. There are plenty of tables and chairs if you like to do work. However, the wifi is on the slow end. Maybe too many users? Maybe not enough bandwidth? Maybe weak router unable to handle the number of connections? If you're doing work here and rely on wifi, I would move on. Its slooow and keeps disconnecting.

Had the beef broth and it came with root vegetables and a poached egg, but no meat? The backside patio was nice and allowed for us to bring our dog. My husband had the omelet and didn't enjoy it either. He's not picky at all about his food. I don't think we will be back. Line was long so maybe it just didn't suit us.

Enjoyed Oakland's Restaurant Week at Julie's with their Salmon Egg's Benedict. The biscuit was moist, eggs were perfect & the sauce was a nice addition. I didn't really care for their coffees, they were cold & the espresso macchiato was a bit too strong & bitter.
