Favorite sushi in oakland, currently operating as Los Kinjas across the street due to fire in their old spot. Grilled edamame, Triple Kinja, Cherry Blossom, hamachi carpaccio are the best.
Hands down my fav local spot. (Helps that it's just 2 blocks away.) But it's the only place with perfect tekka rolls. Places usually are shy on the vinegar which makes the rice bland but Kinja recognizes you need vinegar to add dimension and that umami sweetness to a roll! We usually have to get one tekka roll for each of us. Love all the rolls and really bummed they're not currently open! Hope that changes soon. :)

We love this place! The decor is small and quaint with only 4 tables. They are in a temporary location due to a fire so that will change. Still go in and sit down its a homey vibe and no one is ever in there as most people do delivery. The sushi is amazing. The rolls are great and so is the crudo. Highlights crudo the triple kinja and rainbow rolls. We have been having a tough time finding a good sushi restaurant to eat at and this is our go to spot now. The food is cheap but...read full review
