Meet Fresh has become my favorite dessert place. I went to Taiwan last year and have been dreaming of the desserts there. Meet Fresh has the goods and satisfies my cravings. My go-to is the warm taro ball bowl. The warm and sweet taste is pleasing on a cold night. They also have icy jelly bowls which are perfect when it's warm. Came here on a Sunday night around 6:30 PM and the area was like a ghost town. There was plenty of street parking and not even a soul on sight. This place was one of the few places that was actually open. We ordered the grass jelly (hot) and one of the popular dishes on their menu. I would not recommend getting the grass jelly hot... it had melted and if you don't eat it quick enough, it starts turning back into jello. It was still good though! I don't know what it is about chinatown desserts but each time I've been, the desserts always come out lukewarm when you ask for hot desserts. I did my own creation when I came here this time - hot almond soup with taro balls and red bean. It was good but again, the lukewarm component really made the whole experience a little less enjoyable. I do want to support asian businesses so i'll be back but maybe i'll just order takeout and reheat it at home because it is that important...read full review
