3 because the steak in the Lomo Saltado or Senor Lomo is great. The service was absolutely terrible and the prices seemed high. I was amused by the half a boiled potato for $15 LoL (I spent a lot of time in Peru and the true Peruvians would laugh their a** off at this potato) if you want to go blow a couple hundred on some great steak just ask for the best waiter/waitress and hope you have a better experience then we did.

Absolutely amazing. My desert island food is definitely the empanadas here!!! I've liked every single thing I've gotten here - salads, mains, and sides. The food travels really well for takeout, too.

One of the best Peruvian restaurants in the East Bay, the ceviche reminds me of my hometown. The owners are so kind and friendly. Great portions and the price is just right. See you soon.

I would eat here every day if I could. Every dish we ordered was incredible.

We're doing keto and are like, okay a whole rotisserie chicken and salad works for a birthday celebration right? Heck yeah! We started with the pescado ceviche, nice and spiced. Beautiful and bright flavors. The rotisserie chicken was moist and flavorful and everything you want from a rotisserie chicken. We were introduced to the rococo chile peppers, and loving hot stuff, we were absolutely into it. The spinach and feta salad was incredible and went perfectly with the chicken. We slathered it with one of the sauces from the trio of sauces offered. Owner was our server, and sometimes you can just tell by the warmth and kindness. I can't wait to go back!

This place will take you on a trip to flavor town. The empanada crust is flakey and delicious. The lomo Saltado was so dank, I wanted to lick the sauce off the plate.

This place is the best Peruvian restaurant we've ever eaten at. Even better than Limon! Amazing customer service, crazy delicious food and overall excellent service. Our waitress, Irene, was very attentive and accommodating. The rotisserie chicken was unreal juicy on the inside with crispy skin on the outside. The dipping sauces were crack! This will be our new go to Peruvian spot. Definitely come by and enjoy it for yourselves.

I came in here by chance the other day with my grandfather. We chose this because he wanted to try something new for lunch. We were completely blown away. Food is a solid substance. Textures and flavors are a match made in heaven. We ordered items that had been recommended in previous reviews. (Not everything was perfect or arrived ready to speck, but there is so much flavor and interest that I would return.) Saltado de Pollo. We ordered chicken and served it dry. So we asked for more sauce, which was already $2. Chicken rotisserie. The flavor is excellent, the meat is tender, and the fries are well-seasoned. We should have ordered another because it was so good! Jalea. It's a little bland, but it's manageable. The service was a little slow, but they are approachable. After our orders arrived, the restaurant began to fill up with a lunch rush of customers. Depending on what you've got, the food. Keep an open mind.

Walked by and decided to check out this place. I ordered the quinoa and goat cheese empanadas, which were delicious. I just wish they were bigger or you got more than 2 pieces with the order given the price. Staff was very friendly. Not a ton of vegetarian options.

We decided to dine out but had no idea where to go. After perusing restaurants along Piedmont Avenue, we came upon Mistura and was intrigued by their menu. We decided to try it out and we're so glad we did. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and full of fresh flavors. We're definitely going to be back and bringing friends with us to experience this wonderful food and friendly staff. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

What a treat! Amazing Peruvian food with vegan options and great service. Conveniently located on Piedmont Ave with quant indoor seating and two outdoor tables. The wine selection is small but mighty and the housemade refreshments are fabulous. The Maracuya and Chicha Morada both impressed! We started with the Quinoa Salad which is fresh and delish. I love that the dressing comes on the side. We got the Mushroom Empanadas which do have an egg wash on top so are not 100% vegan. The filling is seasoned to perfection. The spicy red salsa is so yummy! Be prepared to put it on everything. The Veggie Salteado is wonderful! We subbed Maduros and Yucca for the fries. The Maduros were so good we had to order a second side for our little one. The service is attentive and the owners are wonderful hosts. I would highly recommend Mistura!
