The beer is surprisingly good and dependably good—from such a small brewery. Customer service is always friendly. Bathrooms are always clean. The book theme throughout adds a fun element that does not sacrifice on quality. They have some games to play and fun events like trivia nights. Novel is a local brewery in Oakland with a very good beer from their sour to their stout. They serve their flights in hardback novels. For an avid reader like me, it was impressive.They have pop ups all the time. Today’s was Peruvian hotdogs from llama. The ambience is well done and very casual. Dogs are welcome in fact they have a polaroid wall of Dogs.
New favorite brewery. They have a great big patio. Dogs are welcomed. Staff members are super awesome and attentive. People were bringing in growlers one after another to be filled and they gladly rinse it out for you and fill it. They have a great selection of beverages for everyone to choose from. I tried a double hazy and to my surprise, I found it absolutely amazing.
