I had my first experience with Plant Nation when I ordered a pizza recently -- the wild mushroom pizza looked pretty good. When the pizza arrived, it smelled amazing but the pizza was SO oily that I blotted it with paper towels like my friend Charlie used to do years ago and I would laugh at him. Once I sopped up the oil spill, it was pretty good - but it's so expensive and I definitely make equally good pizza at home. Ymmv
Plant nation is incredible! Each flavor is so uniquely and deeply built. The super sexy sesame salad was insane! The lettuce and cabbage were so fresh, crisp and flavorful even before the dressing. You could taste the quality of the veggies. The delicious dressing combined with the crisp lettuce, delicious tofu and fried wontons... is a dream! Also the vegan Margherita pizza was delicious! I'm partially to blame for not saying vegan (thinking subbing for vegan cheese was what I needed to do), but I also don't think the website should say it's a plant based restaurant when they have actual chicken and dairy products.
