Had the duck leg, mushroom pasta, gem salad, and squash. All delicious! Server was super nice and they included service in the check. Would definitely come back!

I️ absolutely love Pomet. The food is so fresh and bright. The service is impeccable. My husband and I️ were excited to celebrate our anniversary at Pomet tonight because we love it so much, but unfortunately our son fell really sick. I called Pomet this morning, worried that I️ was outside of the cancellation window. The only thing they were concerned about was that my son was sick. ❤️so grateful for the kindness that accompanies this amazing restaurant. Can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary at Pomet at another date.

I thoroughly enjoyed dining at Pomet. The food was incredible (shout out for the mushroom pasta). The dinner rolls were soft and paired well with the mushroom pasta. I had the trout which was delicate and tender. For dessert, I had the chocolate bar which demonstrated masterful artistry.

Food was amazing. Did not feel like anything was way overpriced and serving sizes were well portioned. Was pretty full from one starter and one side per person. Better food than I've had at much more expensive places. Definitely recommend.

I felt that the servers were rude, the food was nasty and I’ll never eat there again. I am a person of color and felt racist overtones. Unacceptable! I do not recommend this establishment.

We had a great experience at Pomet. Gracious service, including a friendly reception, attentive waiter who was there when we needed him, and a relaxed pace to the meal. Ordered 3 hot appetizers, an entree, and shared all plus a silken flan for dessert. We had quail, duck, and the ugly mushroom pasta to start, and a pork collar entree. The pickled vegetables brightened each appetizer, all were unique. The pasta is a mainstay, our waiter said the most popular dish. Earthy, umami, unctuous but with some pickled mushrooms mixed in, I'd order it every visit. The pork had a rich Demiglace sauce with mustard seeds, and a millefuille of root vegetables worth fighting over. The meat was fork tender, deeply flavored. Portions here are middle range, not real large, but not small. We were very satisfied. My husband ordered a nice wine, I don't drink so can't comment. Not an inexpensive meal, but every ingredient was farm fresh, treated respectfully. I love that they tip share with all the staff, too. This was a special dinner, we will return!

1st time at Pomet: 2 people2nd time: 4 people3rd time: 6 peopleI’ve been 3x and each time has been special in its own way. And yet each time the food and atmosphere is, in my opinion, one of the best in the Bay. I hope you can make it to try their mushroom pasta or if you’re an omnivore, try their take on a classic, Korean Fried Duck. A delicately gamier and juicer version its chicken progenitor. Service is spot on and I’ll be going back with more friends in tow soon.

Bummed to give just 4 stars (it's a 3 to 4) but given all the hype, and price, i think it's appropriate. We took our own wine, party of four, and spent just under $500. All the good things:- the menu was really interesting and love the emphasis on farm to table. lots of interesting dishes, beautifully described. - i had the crudo and steak and would rate both 5 star. i wish the crudo had come with a small spoon so i could guzzle it down, seemed such a waste to leave and i didn't want to drink from the bowl...they only had small forks for all the dishes which was a challenge.- We had a birthday at the table and the kitchen gave us an extra dessert to enjoy which was lovely. The so/so things:- No cocktails available- Dessert options limited - we got them all - clearly, not their speciality.- The starter salad, the beet salad and the ugly mushroom pasta all shared a common feature. Each dish was very tasty and artfully prepared, abundant with complexity of flavors and ingredients however they were difficult to eat. For example the firm beet chunks needed to be cut up into 4 bites, the salad wedge was really dense required a lot of sawing, and then the pasta "logs" were over packed and took a lot of chewing to get through. Something had been missed in creation of each dish that took into account the experience of eating the dish. - The service was underwhelming. We felt pretty rushed throughout and certainly at the beginning to place the order. There was no explanation of the menu or a warm welcome or introduction to the concept of the restaurant which has a great story to tell, and far from Michelin star quality. There was no time to get settled in. Someone else described the service as professional but cold, I think that's fair. - The ambience was okay. Seats not particularly comfortable. The AC and lighting got cranked up high while we ate our dessert...i think staff were ready to leave.

The menu takes farm to table seriously. The menu is thoughtfully inclusive of a variety of fresh produce and proteins from local farmers. That much isn't lost on me. But, I found the food to be only OK, even a bit underseasoned overall. As somewhat of a homesteader, I can appreciate eating local produce, but I was left underwhelmed with the meal at the price point. We came for a birthday and ordered each entree and the bread, pasta, quail from the starters and each had it's highlights, but again each fell short of a well rounded dish.As far as the service is concerned, it was mediocre. The staff was eager to take the order, but disappeared after the plates were served. We had to look for people when we needed more water, and not a single person checked to make sure the meal was to our liking. For a restaurant at this price point and caliber, I suppose I expected more.I think it's worth a try, but perhaps not a regular occurrence.

My husband and I attended an event in Piedmont and decided to stop at Pomet for dinner. We did not have a reservation, however, the host kindly offered two seats at the bar which we gladly took. The dinner that followed was nothing short of flawless. Our server was patient, thoughtful, and attentive. The atmosphere was clean, modern, and comfortable. The food was just a fabulous journey flavor and excitement but also completely cozy and welcoming at the same time. We started with small gem salad, then had the ugly mushroom (still dreaming of this dish) and seeded bread (fresh baked), and trout and duck (cooked to perfection) for mains. My husband had the eclair for dessert and I had decaf coffee. We will definitely be back to this little piece of paradise.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options if you are diary free

Likely one of the best meals I have had in the Bay; will be back again and again.Must-order: the salt and pepper wolfe ranch quail, the ugly mushroom pasta, and the persimmon and beet salad.
