Last day of my holiday we had lunch at Saucy Oakland - and we thought it was very, very good! So you can't say much about the service, because you order at the counter and pick up the food at the counter. But both of our dishes were freshly prepared, were normal portions to fill you up and tasted excellent. The sake flight was also great to try out the different sakes. We were happy not to have stopped a few blocks away at Swans Market and chosen Saucy instead! Best recommendation!

everything was great, flavor was on point. we had chicken wings, hamachi, thai corn dogs, garlic noodles and bread pudding with ube ice cream. service was outstanding, very cozy decor. gem of a place for sure

We went for the wonderful valentines chef fixed dinner. The food was amazing. The drinks were too. It was a busy night so I understand, but we had to ask for our drinks 3 times. Other than that, I would love to come back.

Ordered the 5-course Chef's tasting menu with sake pairing and had a mixed experience. The journey started strong with a delicious sushi-like first dish, perfectly complemented by the sake. However, the quality dipped from there. The third course, Miso Sea Bass, suffered from an overly sweet sauce that drowned out the fish's natural flavors. The fourth course, intended as the main highlight, fell short due to the use of lower-quality meat, a surprising and noticeable choice for a Chef's tasting menu. While I'm open to trying their regular menu items in the future, the tasting menu experience has made me hesitant to prioritize a return visit

This is a new local favorite. My husband and I have come here a couple times and each time have basically ordered everything we think we can fit in our stomachs because it all sounded super delicious. It was. I cannot express how much I love the himachi shooters. We went for happy hour one time and ordered two, slurped them up, and ordered two more immediately after. The food comes out quickly, it's all delicious and the staff is nice as hell

Enjoyed the chef's tasting menu with 2 other people. We were all raving by the 3rd course, food was excellent! They adhered to my food sensitivity request perfectly. The chicken wings are not to be missed, delicious korean style fried. We also had the hamachi spoon, great starter with a little spice. The best part was the dessert, ube cookies and cream bread pudding??!! Apparently they change the flavor monthly, can't wait to try them all! The manager, chef and wait staff were all so very nice and accommodating, great experience.

I was pleasantly surprised with Saucy. My mom and I wanted to grab grub instead of sitting in traffic so we Yelp's and found Saucy. There was only street parking and there is also a $10 lot close by. This area has quite a few restaurants so parking is not in abundance. We had reservations but arrived 15 min early and was seated immediately. It's small inside so I still recommend reservations if you're visiting later in the evening. Service was top tier. Everyone was warm and attentive. Some of the items we wanted were on HH and our server informed us of the slightly lower prices. The atmosphere is really cute. Dark and moody for a date night vibe for sure. We ordered saucy wings (mild heat made the sauce on the wings pretty sweet but they were huge and yummy); pork belly bao buns (decent but not amazing), garlic noodles with shrimp (could have used more garlic but weren't bad); popcorn shrimp (simple but good) and then finished the meal with dessert. The crème brûlée was green and I LOVED it. My mom ordered the cheesecake and liked it a lot. I would return and try other items.

Saucy, Saucy, I'm Saucy on you...My friends and I were in town for Second Sky in 2022. After a long drive from LA, we were hungry and Saucy was the first place we saw on Yelp and it was a no-brainer. Luckily, we were within walking distance from our hotel. We arrived around 5pm which to our luck was Happy Hour. Happy Hour runs between 5pm-6pm from Tuesday to Saturday. It was a Friday so it was pretty quiet. The interior of Saucy is rustic yet modern and cute. There are Asian elements throughout the decor as well. Our waiter was attentive and great at recommending food to us. For food and drinks, we shared:- Strawberry guava sake spritzer carafes: 5/5 - Not too sweet, pretty tasty, and strong. We ordered 2 carafes for a good buzz.- Garlic noodles with egg: 5/5 - SO GOOD. Since we shared, we wish we got our own lol.- Hamachi spoon: 5/5 - Fresh, addicting, and so yummy. We ordered two orders of these.- Cajun lemon pepper fries - 3/5. It's fries. And the flavor was good.- Pork belly lettuce wrap - 4/5. The pork belly to lettuce wrap ratio was good. I also really liked the sauce.I love fusion Asian food and I think Saucy did a great job with their menu despite only tasting food from the Happy Hour menu. I would definitely come back and try food from their lunch or dinner menu.

I came here on a Thursday evening with a group. We ordered a lot of appetizers and dishes. Everything was really good! My favorite were the garlic noodles, the pumpkin, curry, and the mimosa drink. Everything was seasoned very well. I will definitely return.

Adding to one of our favorite places to eat in Oakland. We had a few gift cards from trivia at Sante Adarius a couple doors down, and have always talked about going to Saucy. Took us a while, but glad we decided to go here for date night. The place is cute and romantic. We loved that it was busy, but not loud or crowded. The food was excellent. The dishes came out at a good pace. We weren't ever waiting long or feeling overwhelmed by too many dishes on the table. My favorite was the hamachi spoons, my gf loved the garlic noodles. The service was really great! It seemed like a place where all the employees helped each other out, but our main server was incredibly nice, attentive, and accommodating. Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family.

Love this place. Came back for just dessert tonight. The pandan creme brulee is amazing. Always love their garlic noodles and Thai corn dogs too if you're having a meal. Atmosphere is colorful and lively but not overwhelming. Staff are always friendly and attentive.
