Hands down best ramen in the Bay Area: the noodles, broth, toppings - even the bowls are in their own league of flavorful and amazing. I feel like if Ferran Adria opened up a ramen shop, it'd be like this. Highly recommend their karaage as well, which isn't listed on the menu and is delicious and super crispy on the outside. Ambiance is peaceful, modern, and spacious; staff are really welcoming and courteous.
I have no clue how they make this so well... I'm a regular, obviously. Ok, I understand that all places in the Public Market are 5 star, but Shiba Ramen is just unexplainable... The flavors, amount, cooking time, everything is perfect here... and they don't take that long to finish either... I really have no idea why they're so good... I only wish they had a few more spicy options, but that ain't reason to take any of their stars. These guys deserve the best!

Solid high quality ramen. However they recently changed their recipe I think for white bird, which imo was their best item. Somehow the aroma and creaminess is just not the same. Too bad, because I racked up so many visits just for that and now I hardly have a reason to go back. If they serve up the og white bird again, I'll be back for sure!
