Great Pho! One of the best in Oakland. ...Stingy on the sauces. They'll give you the tiniest containers to take their sauces to go. Love the vinegar chile and the Chile paste but I always have to ask for more containers and they'll give you just one. I immediately regretted tipping, since I wasn't even serviced there. But generally tip even to go, but I won't anymore when I order to go. What's the point if I can't enjoy it with enough sauce like when I eat in person?? Food is great, but eat there if you're a sauce/spice person!

Went here looking for a quick yummy lunch last this last weekend. Food was very good! Not too salty, very flavorful! Would recommend if you are in the area.

Omg amazing! First off, the parking was easy. They have a private parking and street parking. We got out door seating which was nice we got to enjoy the weather. We ordered pho combo, spring roll and egg rolls. Which all was amazing. The veggies were so fresh in the spring roll no yellowing veggies or hard rice wrap. Egg rolls were hot and fresh out of the oil so be careful. I burnt my tongue eating it to fast. The pho combo was good perfect amount of everything. I really enjoyed the broth. I drank all the broth. I was full at the end of my meal. I would definitely Go again. I also took a Thai tea to go. It was perfect. The Thai tea had a perfect balance tea to milk ratio. We order like 3. The price was reasonable. We had 3 Thai tea and 2 large pho combo, spring rolls, ands egg rolls cost us $67.

If you're looking for a Vietnamese restaurant that's a hole in the wall, this a place you to check out. We came here on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. We had to seat ourselves because the one server was taking orders at the register. This place can run more smoothly if they had a better system. All the workers were running around like a chicken with their heads cut off Overall, the food was great! I would give them another star if I didn't have to go up to the register to order.

The grilled chicken is my go to here. It has a slightly sweet smoky taste that is fairly addicting. I think in general they do meat well. They also give a decent portion for a decent price. Chicken vermicelli bowl : really good Chicken over rice: also very good. The rice reminds me of couscous Pork chop over rice: tasty Imperial rolls: this was a miss for us. The filling was too mushy and bland Chicken pho: wasn't a fan, but I'm very particular about my pho broth. I don't like it when its sweet. I think for most people tho this would taste fine. They have a tiny parking lot and its within walking distance from lake merritt. Its a local neighborhood place that I wouldn't go out of my way for, but if you're around the lake, would suggest giving it a try. I've only ordered takeout from here, but will say that they don't always answer their phone especially on Sundays when they are very busy. Hasn't stopped me from coming here.

The pho here hits! My love for pho started my freshman year of college in SD and it's only grown stronger. For the most part, I'm not that picky about my pho. I usually always leave satisfied, and this place did not disappoint. They serve you with hot tea while you wait and that was great on such a cold day. The couple that run this place are nice and attentive. As someone who was just visiting, I got exactly what I wanted. It's a small shop, go give them your money it's gooood

Authentic and great quality Viet food at reasonable prices. As a Viet food connoisseur, this place meets the mark for Viet noodle dishes in the USAs, short of going to San Jose or Houston. The soup is the most important and their soup tasted flavorful without a MSG aftertaste and thirst. Their meat and seafood were expertly sliced and fresh tasting. They use real fresh Viet herbs which make a big difference for an authentic taste. They have extensive VEGETARIAN menu. Most important - very clean and the owner (super nice guy) is onsite. Their Owner supervision shows in the quality of food and attentive preparation. And their house made fresh thai chili garlic sauce is the BEST! Two thumbs up. Support your local small business. They really need your help to survive the pandemic.

not really a Pho person but this is the Best Pho ever! my family's go-to. They are so nice to us, so nice to our baby when we come. Even when we take it to-go, it's so good & our orders are always done right.

I'm a little hesitant in leaving a review because I don't want the place packed with a long line. But they deserve an award for their service and I'd be willing to wait in line for PHO HUONG QUE in Oakland This is the BEST PHO in Northern California! The price is below average and the customer service is way above average. They have a quaint little parking lot so you can feel safe. If you apprecaite a family run business that works 7x a week and always has a big smile and super friendly. This is the place, you will not be disappointed. Head over now, I'll see you there.

I wanted a deli sandwich for lunch but a member of the group says he has sensitive gum and asks if i would reconsider replacing sandwiches with something he can eat. And since I'm not a despot like Putin, or his stooge, Trump, I readily agreed. We came here instead because it has outdoor seating & a private carpark. My friend has had Vietnamese food only once before and suggested I order for the table, this way, he says he can sample everything. Pretty clever dude, isn't he? We got the popular chicken salad, pho ga, spring roll and the house special dry noodle with a side of soup along with their strong iced coffee. So the food came and the clever dude took a whiff of the pho ga and immediately slurp up the broth. He was like a kid lost in the happy world of the M&M store. After the 5th spoonful, He must have caught himself for he looks up and sheepishly asks if anyone wanted some. We smiled & said we'll eat the other stuff, thanks. The chicken salad was on point and, of course, clever dude says he loved the pho ga. We loved the rich peanutty flavored dipping sauce for the spring roll. We agreed to return & try their vegetarian options

Can I just give five stars for they're freaking huuuge vegetarian menu? I'm sorry, there's just something about a restaurant that has so many choices for meat and non-meat eaters that fills me with so much admiration in their willingness to satisfy all kinds of diets. I got the vegetarian spicy beef noodle soup and it was massive. Their portions are big even for takeout! There were a massive amount of toppings and veggies. The flavor of the broth wasn't very strong, but I still really enjoyed it (nothing some sriracha couldn't fix)! I'm definitely coming back to try more things!!

This has become one of my go-to pho spots in Oakland. You can call and place an order quite easily or order online/pre-pay through the apps (though I suspect the apps prob add a surcharge). They also have indoor dining and a few outdoor tables available. They also have a small parking lot and some street parking available. I have mostly ordered for pick-up during this time. Their pho broth is consistent and flavorful. The meat is packaged separately in a plastic sandwich fold-top bag on top of the noodles + onions/cilantro blend. This comes separate from the hot broth. All to-go orders are kept in insulated coolers at the register to keep them piping hot. Portions are reasonable. I've ordered the egg rolls and a lime soda from them - both are okay but I prefer just ordering their pho. I've also ordered the beef stew, though I typically prefer the beef stew over at Pho Vy - though they don't have a parking lot so GL. Typically two orders of pho (one regular, one large) runs me about $35 through the apps, including tip. While Pho Au Sen has previously been my go-to, this is a bit closer to me and super convenient to order from. My only concern is that the dad (owner?) may be slightly racist as my boyfriend (who is african american) came in to pick up our order and was rudely dismissed and then ignored for 20+ minutes before the son came out and my boyfriend was able to request the food again... The experience was very uncomfortable for him. I personally have not had this issue when I do pick-up myself but something to be wary of.

My favorite pho place in the Oakland area! I love the fermented garlic vinaigrette sauce they have at each table - it really elevates the broth and the noodles altogether. Cash and card are accepted. There's outdoor seating + you can order on doordash. Service is always great and I've come here enough times to know it's run by a family - they're super friendly every time I come in! Delicious broth, texture of noodles good, and the soup is hot. Always a solid choice especially when I'm craving noodles on a cold day.

Terrible terrible Terrible! Soup was ok. Appetizers were inedible. Found a hair in one of the rice dishes. And it took 45min longer than it should have. Never again!
