Gee, was it wrong for me to expect Aretha Franklin to come out of the kitchen as Mrs. Murphy from "The Blues Brothers" and tell me to stick my four fried chickens where the sun don't shine? When I saw the name, I figured she and Patti LaBelle must've opened a place in Fruitvale even though Aretha sadly passed away. I could still see her raise the roof on "Think" in this place, but no, it's very calm with no Motown choreography. Jamie W. and I came over upon my suggestion by BART....read full review
Food was delicious!! Fresh crusty bread for sandwiches, almond hummus and tasty veggies, including sprouts! Dill and vinegar potato salad was yummy, tofu scramble and kale salad with fresh berries. Kind service.

Just Had The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich With Side Salad! It Was Tastey. Little Bit To Salty For My Licking But Its Probably The Buffalo Sauce. The Salad Was Good! Definitely Trying This Place Again Tho.. Need To Try Their Other Meals.
