My favorite brewery in the Bay Area. I love how they include more fragrant herbal flavors such as lavender, sunflower, etc in their beer, enhancing the taste of it. My favorite beer is the local honey beer and it's a hit among my friends, even those who don't even drink beer. It has subtle honey and lavender flavor. A funky and precisely curated spot, from the backlit menu display to the indoor-outdoor patio space with a fire pit to the perfect playlist ranging from beachy indie to Nigerian disco. I love Woods. Each location is unique to its neighborhood. The staff are all friendly and kind. And the beer of course is FABULOUS. You can't beat local honey (honey eucalyptus lavender beer). Best local spot.
I stopped by Woods to grab a drink early on a Saturday afternoon. I arrived right around when they first opened. It's a little difficult to find street parking as the area Woods is located can get a little overcrowded. I ordered a flight of beer which was very reasonably priced for the quality of the beer as well as a chicken empanada that was was both fresh and tasty.
