Always stop for Nations when visiting Northern CA. Their fries are covered in chili and a couple slices of cheese are delicious, and I don't know why!

First visit to Nations since I was a child growing up in Moraga. This is the Orinda location, they moved it across the street a few years back according to my family. Same Nations I remember, burger took forever to make (same as always!) and it had so much onion, lettuce and mayo that the bun disintegrated halfway through (again, exactly as I remember). Fries are still mediocre. Restaurant was filled with unsavory types which seemed unusual in Orinda...maybe because it was Thanksgiving.Vegetarian options: Grilled cheese!Parking: Street parking in front.Kid-friendliness: Highly!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat.

Nice and clean nice people.Burgers were Hot.Fries well, I'm used to half bagful !! @ the Red Onion Pinole, not just a lil bag of fries...
One of the worst burgers and grilled cheese that I’ve ever had. Had to wait a while for the food and everything was bland/cold.The cheese on the grilled cheese wasn’t even melted! The cheeseburger didn’t come with any cheese either.

Unfortunately this burger chain is no longer what it used to be. The burgers are smaller, the chess is absolutely horrible. Fries and shakes are no longer good at all. I've been going to Nation's since I was 3 years old. 1971 and I will NOT go back. Poor quality control, overpriced. Almost $50 for 2 normal sized people. I'm ???

I was surprised to see the newly remodeled location, it was clean, bright, and friendly staff. We had shakes, fries, slices of pies. Since it was later into the night our table had pancakes as well. No disappointments, I was pleasantly surprised and will make my way there again soon.
