I am so sorry to report that the signage in front of Dynasty Restaurant indicates they are now permanently closed as of May 5, 2021. What a shame, as the New Dynasty Restaurant was delish and the servers, phone personnel and chefs were so kind and friendly plus the food was truly wonderful and plentiful ! I loved the decor and sorely missed eating inside during COVID. NTL, we had take out and boy am I glad we did - it was nice to support a family business and to enjoy everything about this long standing PG restaurant. I wish to thank the owners and their staff immensely and to also say Thank You For The Memories !!! Take good care and the best of life and new ventures to you - cheers !

Cant say its my favorite Chinese restaurant in the world but it was a good meal. Good flavors, Fresh Food, good selection.. Everyone in our party found something they liked even the kids that never had Chinese before. Would go back for sure.

I am new to Pacific Grove and tried this restaurant. I asked for Generals chicken as it is on the menu. When I got it I realized they used the sweet and sour chicken and added some sort of general like sauce. The dish sucked. The person who took my order was not nice and only cared to ask if there was more to my order. While waiting I overheard another customer ask if they where closing for good. Well I hope they do. The food sucked the interaction sucked. Hope we get a good Chinese restaurant with great food and superior customer service. This place is selling bottom of the barrel food. Do not go.

Worst chinese food ever....Soggy, bland, flour tortillas...yikes...I'll give some credit, it came out fast and hot, but I wish they took they're time to make something edible. Better off at Panda Express.

Mucha comida. Good size portions. Ordered a Chicken combination plate for dinner and had the leftovers for lunch the following day. OK food, to go only. Includes soup.

I am very VERY disappointed! I have ordered from here before and never have I had this problem! They got my order completely wrong and the wasn't even the issues. The issue was how they handled it yhey kept telling me they didnt speak English and they would call me back. Someone called me back and said he would call me tomorrow. My card was charged 50 dollars and I got 3 small side orders! Check your food and make sure you get charged correctly! From a long day of work this is was the last thing I wanted to deal with!

12/7/2020 (lunch:) First visit trying this restaurant for take out. I ordered:Almond Chicken CombinationBao (pork buns)The rice was delicious, and was a medium rice variety. It had red onion, peas, carrots and egg. The vegetables in the dishes were fresh and the Chow Mein noodles were cooked perfectly, and not overdone/overcooked and mushy like many restaurants seem to serve. The egg roll and the Bao were just okay - almost seemed pre-made and packaged.12/8/2020 (dinner): I decided to try the restaurant for our family. We ordered:Chicken Egg Foo YoungMongolian BeefCombination Chow MeinCombination Fried RiceCashew ChickenThe rice was different than when I tried it the day before - it was a typical rice grain length vs the shorter-grain version I had for lunch the day prior. The shorter grain version was so much better. It seemed to hold the “fried” a lot better. The rice we got to tonight was a long-grain and did not have the red onion. It was good, as was the Chow Mein. The chow mein noodles were softer than at lunch time - just slightly overcooked. The Mongolian beef has a nice crust on it, and was beautifully served, and the cashew chicken was great! We were extremely disappointed with the egg foo young. First, it was pre-made to your order. Secondarily, it tasted like they used packaged patties that were fried to order. The “gravy” is not a typical brown sauce that you might find typically, but a mix of vegetables and mushrooms, perhaps made differently, based on a region in China. The Egg Foo Young was extremely undercooked and was inedible. We did put it in our air fryer, and then in our convection oven. It was edible, but not good. The meal, overall was really salt, but served piping hot and still good. So, would I order again?Yes and no. I think if it were the rice or Chow Mein, then yes. Both the Almond Chicken and Cashew Chicken were good because the vegetables were fresh and the chicken was as well. As of now, these would be the dishes I would order. They were really good, prepared well and they were served hot and fresh! I wish there were more homemade and fresh options. I would also like to try this restaurant again after Covid, as I know many restaurants are struggling and have had to cut some corners.Third time ordering: FANTASTIC!Rice was amazing - loaded and fried nicely. The cashew chicken was delicious (again - third time,) and we also ordered the General Tso’s chicken. Hint: bring it home and put it in your air fryer if you get take out. The steam will make it soft when traveling, so fry it up when you get home - nice and crispy.I think it depends on who cooks your meal and what you order here. We now have our favorites, so I will order those. You should try this place if you haven’t though.

By far the worse Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Very disappointing

We ordered over the phone and picked up our food about 10min later. We ordered: cashew chicken, sweet and sour chicken, potstickers and fried rice. The service was great and when we got home we were very surprised at how large the portions were! The food was fresh and the veggies were all cooked perfectly!! None of the dishes we ordered had a greasy texture and the fried rice was delicious, not heavy at all!! We were wonderfully surprised as this was our first time ordering from here. I would say that this restaurant has high quality food, quick service and is worth the price!

Food was hot and ready quickly.Although I had asked for all noodles in a combination order another exchange instead of fried wontons and one egg roll .I would get cream cheese wonton. Instead half rice , half noodles ... two egg rolls which were not that great...The gentleman didn't speak the best English but his server did and should have gotten my order right. Or could have told me it was not possible. I would have ordered differently.
Contrary to some of the reviews here, Dynasty has really upped its game and is re-entering the excellent category of places to discover excellent and exotic Chinese food.

Great Chinese food, huge portions, and at a great price! We had the General Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Prawn Chowmein - all were excellent! The chowmein was definitely more like what we consider lomein, but we knew that going in, and that's my wife's favorite. The only negative was the number of shrimp in the chowmein - probably 6 small shrimp in the whole box. Certainly not a deal breaker. The portions more than made up for it. SO MUCH FOOD! My wife and I each eat a lot of food. With these three dishes there are probably 6 servings (1 dinner + 2 lunch each)

Used their delivery. We are five minutes away. One of the plastic containers had broken/melted and the bottom was separated from the rest of the container. The food in that container was not edible and was all over the bottom of the bag. What a mess. Everything was sticky. Again, the container didn't spill because it was closed improperly, the bottom actually fell away from the container. We then moved onto the appetizer. OMG, everything was fried and cold. One of the selections was not recognizable. Imitation crab fried? The other item ordered was Chicken Salad. It did have some chicken but was overshadowed by at least a cup of salted peanuts. Sadly the fortune cookies were stale. I wanted to be sensitive of Covid but it was a waste of $35.

Staff were nice but the food lacked absolutely any flavor. Was also ready suspiciously quickly. The scallion pancake contained literally one layer and maybe 5 slices of scallion in total. Eggrolls and char siu bao were also pretty flavorless and the interior of the bao was dry. Maybe it was an off-night but its not my money to give it another go.

We ordered a combo plate with hot & sour soup, prawns, egg rolls, chicken chow mein, fried rice, and sweet & sour pork. We ordered online and the delivery was very quick. The portions were huge and the food had good flavor. The noodles and rice did seem bloated so may not have been freshly made. We still enjoyed the food though. We would definitely order again or visit when we're in the area again.
