It took a long time to get seated, and that was even with calling ahead and making reservations. The place was very crowded and a few groups gave up and went somewhere else because the wait was long. The atmosphere was dim and cozy. There was quite a bit of dust on the lamp that shines down, which was apparent because it was low and got bumped and you could see the dust puff through the air around us, which usually I'm not examining a place for dust everywhere but it was a lot, and right at face level.Right away we could tell or waitress was on edge and stressed, probably from it being so crowded. I try to not hold that against servers, maybe she had a bad day, or maybe it was understaffed? But she was like that the whole time and it became uncomfortable. The food took a while, again it was very crowded, so that makes sense. The food was very flavorful and amazing. The salmon seemed a tad undercooked in the thickest part, but I didn't want to say anything because the service wasn't that good at that point. The rest of the family loved the black cherry Gelato float.I thought that maybe during our stay we would come back as I wanted to try a cappuccino and we wanted to try a different dessert, but after the service, it is not a place I would want to go back to.

Good place to have large groups at! They were so accommodating. The serving sizes are also HUGE. The pata, especially the pesto pasta was so delicious. However, the chicken was lacking in flavor.

The food is so delicious. We ordered Farfalle with side of grilled chicken, Wild Rock Cod and Pesto Penne. All are very delicious. We went on Wednesday for lunch. Both portions and prices are very reasonable. The service was a little bit slow but we understood the situation. There was only one lady serving customers and a helper bringing water and took empty plates. And they got a huge group of people before us to serve. We waited around 25 minutes to get her to take our orders but just in 10 minutes, our orders came to our table. It’s worth the wait because the food is so… good!?

Do yourself a major favor and go eat here. Everything from the decor, to the waitstaff, to the dessert is absolutely top notch and incredible. The food is simple yet elegant. 5 stars superb! We had the spaghetti with meatballs and the salmon. The “Prince” for dessert!!! It’s a value also.

Food was delicious but not served 'piping' hot.Bread was an extra charge and was served cold which is not Italian. First Italian restaurant I've been to that serves cold bread, .....really.100 bucks for dinner for 2 (warm but not hot food).

Went for dinner on a rainy weeknight. Food was great, service was fine. Knocking off a star because although they had plenty of open booths the entire time we were there they would not seat a party of two at them so had to make due with a tiny table that was very cramped and barely held our plates, which I did not appreciate.

Worst experience ever. Extremely rude service, and forced us to pay 25%-30% tips. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!

My family and I went to dinner at Il Vecchio , during dinner I notice a cockroach on the table . This disturbed me and my family very much ... we will not return to this restaurant anymore .
