Ordered a Mando burrito with asada, and specifically asked for it without rice and beans (which the lady on the phone had confirmed), and ended up getting a ton of rice and beans. Also, the burrito was full of giant chunks of white onion that I had to pick out because they were way too big and inedible. Unfortunately I don't plan on coming back.

Great casual Mexican restaurant. They were so welcoming and the homemade tortilla chips and salsa were perfect. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed the homemade tortillas and delicious breakfast. Fantastic gem with parking right out front. Stop in and give Mondo a try.

Every ingredient of Mando's dishes are well prepared, well seasoned and simply delicious. It never misses. The menu is large, so there is always a new favorite option. Very family feel, kind and light hearted vibe in the restaurant. Yum! Yum!Vegetarian options: Maybe the best vegetarian burrito ever. And the chili relleno?Kid-friendliness: My kid and her friends eat there. They are shown the same hospitality as adult customers.

I ordered a bacon bfast burrito and grandmas potatoes. Both are delicious. The food portion is nice enough that we were able to share with each other!

I love chili verde so I order it a lot but their chili verde was EXCELLENT. Definitely in the top 5% I've ever had, and that includes some authentic homemade dinners I have had in people's homes. It is very, very good. I also love eggs Benedict and was waffling on which to order, so the waitress suggested chili Verde eggs Benedict, and I hesitated, not sure how the hollandaise would work with the chili Verde but it was very good. When I got there the restaurant was empty but I was there at a weird time of day, 2 pm. No one usually eats at 2 pm. It was just excellent. Highly recommended.

They gave you a big burrito but it was gross. Salsa was gross too. I was so hungry after my dive and the burrito was not it.

I want to preface this review by saying that I am not an expert in Mexican food and I am not picky about it. I do enjoy tacos so I got a shrimp taco and salmon taco. Shrimp taco was great! Salmon taco was interesting. I also got a horchata drink and it was good. The service was great and our server was nice and funny.

I discovered this gem by accident one day and boy am I glad I did!! They have Tamales which is one of my favorite Mexican dishes. It is very hard to find a restaurant on the Monterey Peninsula that makes them. They are homemade and so tasty. I just tried the tacos and both crispy and soft are fabulous. Give this little "hole in the wall" restaurant a try, you won't be disappointed!!

Mando's is fantastic local spot. We regularly go Sunday's and there is always just the right amount of people to be full but never a wait. Their Chorizo Omelet and the Grandma's potato dish are great and the staff is always friendly.Edit: We went this Sunday as usual. The service was not great. We waited 30 minutes for our order to be taken and 45 minutes for our food to come. I still very much recommend it just be aware if they are super busy to plan for a longer meal.Kid-friendliness: We always have two little ones with us and they always accommodate and are friendly.
