Phenomenal pasta. Amazing service. Delicious appetizers. Mouthwatering gelato (Meyer lemon ftw). We're in the area for 4 days and have visited twice - it's that good.

Although I was sad to see Fifi's Cafe close, I was thrilled to dine at Mezzaluna. The mozzarella bar was so unique. We tried three different cheeses, olives and micro greens. Parsley pasta with rabbit, pasta with duck bolognese and bucatini with pancetta, red sauce with chili flakes. Desserts were decadent: vanilla gelato with crumbled almond cookie, whipped cream and a shot of espresso, Meyer lemon sorbet and vanilla gelato bourbon barrel stout float. It was a fantastic Italian feast from beginning to end. I'll drive all the way from San Diego again to eat here.

This lovely restaurant is as close to perfection as it gets. The wait staff is kind and extremely attentive-dishes were cleared away promptly, the table was wiped down several times, questions were answered thoroughly, all peppered with some delightful conversation. The food was other worldly. We started with the watermelon salad-red onion, burrata, cucumber, cilantro, and crisp, sweet watermelon. Delicious. We also had a ravioli dish and one of the specials being offered that night. The ingredients in each one were so fresh and packed with flavor. The marinara sauce-OMG-I thought maybe I died and went to heaven. For dessert we had gelato and tiramisu. I come from an Italian family and I have never tasted a tiramisu that rivaled my sister's...until this evening. My goodness...just delightful. Beyond the food and service, there are so many details...down to acoustic panels on the ceiling to buffer noise, beautiful tea cups and saucers with a dainty little spoon, fresh silverware brought with every course...and the perfect size for whatever we were having. We had a lovely chat with the chef/owner afterward and it's so evident that he loves what he does and he just wants people to enjoy it. I asked him about the marinara and he even sent me home with a can of the delicious tomatoes he uses to make it. What a memorable evening we had here tonight...this is truly a special place.

This place is very good. Their pastas are awesome but the stand outs for us were the gnocchi with truffle and the clam chowder with bone marrow. They do a great job!

If I could eat here everyday I would. The Rigatoni alla Buttera is a must! Everything was fantastic but this dish has been on my mind for days!!! I am counting the days until I can go back for more. We sat at the bar and the employees were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend if you're in the area and love Italian food. Also the drinks were wonderful!

Off menu vegan pasta with fresh veggies was delicious, as were the beet salad and fresh bread.

First timer, good home made pasta, good espresso, friendly environment. I had been looking for squid ink pasta, and finally found it!!! I live in LA, and haven't found similar squid ink pasta. Worth driving to Pacific Grove again for the pasta!!!!!

The experience: Great atmosphere, friendly waiters, and fast service. Good food -- we had the Gnocchi did Patate starter, the Barbabietole al Forno mozzarella dish, and the Gnudi Primavera entree. All tasted fresh. Need to know: The listed hours say they close at 9pm, but that is when the kitchen closes. You can make an 8:45pm reservation and still be good as long as you know what you want to order. Notable: They had a tiramisu that was not on the dessert menu so ask if they have any dessert specials.

Keeping the review simple, whatever you do, do not dine outside. The outdoor dining here competes with the fumes from idling cars in the parking lot and noise from the busy Forest Avenue. We were seated closest to the parking lot and the table was so uneven it dumped the pasta in my daughter's lap while we were eating. It will be a memorable mother's day dinner, but for all the wrong reasons. That said, the server's were extremely helpful and moved us about halfway in our dinner to a different outdoor table which improved the dinner for sure. The food was good, as far as we could enjoy it, but the portions were small for the price. There were a number of missed orders - my wife ordered the soup which did not arrive and which we did not have to pay for - and we did not get napkins originally with our meal. All this to say, I wish we had followed our instincts and dined somewhere else once we were given the worst table in the place. I would like to give the restaurant another chance and dine inside to be honest, but we are lucky to have a number of amazing Italian restaurants in PG to enjoy so I am not sure when we will be back.

Visited yesterday to grab dinner with family. The staff here are all super friendly and the host's vibes made us feel very welcome. We started with a duck pate and salad that we loved. I had a ravioli dish with a glass of red wine. I'm ordering some bottles of the wine now for myself. Everything from the service to the food and wine were perfect. I would come back every week if I could afford to :')
